Fair Oak Farm - Your Country Estate

Sleeps 2-38. Nestled in the estate’s 12 acres & surrounded by breathtaking east Sussex countryside, the c1600 farmhouse, converted grade II listed farm buildings, eco-lodge tree houses and shepherd's huts all provide the perfect rural escape for couples, families or large groups. The farmhouse has a country kitchen, reception rooms and 5 bedrooms. The converted farm buildings include the barn & cow shed, grain store and stable cottage which surround a private courtyard. Three eco-lodge tree houses have stunning uninterrupted valley views and two Shepherd's Huts nestle in the orchard. The main barn is a large open plan space where larger groups can gather cook, dine and relax.

Farmhouse: sleeps 10-12 + cots. Five bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 reception rooms, cloakroom and hallway, large country kitchen.

Barn & Cow Shed: sleeps 6 + cots. Spacious barn with vaulted living/dining, kitchen, twin bedroom, & bathroom. Two suites, each with double bed & en-suite bathroom, courtyard.

Stable Cottage: sleeps 2-4 + cot. Living room/kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom, courtyard.

Grain Store: sleeps 2-4 + cot. Living/dining room, roundel kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom, private garden & courtyard.

The Grand Eco-Lodge Tree House: sleep 2-4. Spacious eco-lodge in an ancient tree line with stunning views from a decked, sheltered balcony. Wet room, kitchen, Living/studio space and separate bedroom.

Eco-Lodge Tree Houses: each sleep 2. Two eco-lodges in an ancient tree line with stunning views from a decked, sheltered balcony. Wet room, kitchen.

Shepherd's Huts, each sleep 2. Double bed, kitchen, log burner, seating, fully equipped kitchen and shower room.

£20 per stay per dog plus extra £50 security deposit.

There are many stunning bridle paths, public footpaths and cycle routes nearby. Our OS map reference is TQ 622 262. The popular Cuckoo Trail and Bewl Water are not far from the farm. His and hers mountain bikes are available for hire. Within a mile from the farm you will also find a superb trout fishery, set up by Roger Daltry over 25 years ago. Also close by are plenty of golf courses and fishing locations. Nearby Bewl Water offers sailing, canoeing, climbing, power boating and lots more for all the family. Other nearby activities or places to visit include ballooning, paragliding, rock climbing, paint ball, motor sports, dry ski slopes, motor sports, heritage gardens, enchanted forests, steam trains and the ''best small zoo in the UK', Drusillas Park. The farm is only 2.5 miles from Mayfield, a large village with beautiful high street & shops.
