Perfect base for our holiday. Comfortable, clean, modern, and well equipped, Sky sports and movies being the cherry on the icing on the cake. We couldn't have wished for more. Sam and Mick were friendly, helpful and welcoming making everything easy for us. A big thank-you and hope to come back.
A big thank you to Mick & Sam for providing us with such a lovely holiday cottage. After staying in and around Bridgnorth for 13 years and up to 6 visits per year, we can honestly say The Cowshed is one of the best.
You have thought of everything and we appreciated the lovely treats. Hope to see you soon. Kind regards Garry & Megan
This was our 4th visit and the cowshed is still the gold standard which we measure all our holiday accommodation against. Very well equipped and dog friendly with great views, privacy and warm, accommodating hosts. High standards matter and this place is faultless.
What a fantastic location! It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the quiet and peaceful view of the countryside. It was just a shame it wasn't good enough weather for a BBQ or to be outside for longer!
Inside the property was also stunning. I don't think the pictures did it justice! We felt very at home (the welcome pack was a very thoughtful and much appreciated bonus) and we loved the décor and overall design of the property. It was immaculately clean too.
The kitchen is very well equipped and it was really handy having Sky TV. The broadband was also much better than other properties we have stayed at. We were very impressed with the comfy bed and excellent shower.
Sam and Mick were warm and friendly hosts and very helpful.
The location was great as there was a supermarket a few minutes drive away and a good choice of restaurants in Bridgnorth (even more impressive that my partner who is fussy about food could find many places to eat!). We would recommend Baileys and Peepos. It was also a great base for exploring the beauty of the Shropshire hills; you have to go to the Long Mynd if you stay here-beautiful! Ludlow Castle was also an interesting place to explore and the town is very picturesque.
We have stayed at many excellent rental properties around the UK but we never normally return; this will be the first place we go back to again as it was such a beautiful property and a perfect location. We have recommended it to many friends already. Thanks Mick and Sam for a hugely enjoyable stay.
Amazing location , very scenic whilst not being too far away from local amenities.
The cow shed was very tastefully decorated with lots of homely touches.
Mick & Sam were lovely hosts and the extra special food parcel on arrival was very welcome!. We have already recommended it to several friends and work colleagues.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Cow Shed last weekend and I can now see why all the other reviewers rave about it. We were met by Samantha, who showed us round the property, explained how everything worked and left us to it but was still on hand if we needed anything.
The property was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the perfect size for the two of us. It had everything you could need for a stay, from a big comfortable bed, to a hot, powerful shower and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch.
We stayed in on a couple of evenings; the well equipped kitchen had everything you could need to cook a meal and they have Sky TV (including sky sports) so plenty of choice in terms of what to watch.
Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to sit out on the terrace in the good sized, private garden with views across the rolling countryside.
The property is located just outside of Bridgnorth and a great base for exploring the local area. There are plenty of guides and information on the local area in the property for inspiration, we opted for a lovely walk along the river to Ironbridge.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, I even gave my parents a Skype tour of the property, recommending it whilst we were staying there.
My husband and I never go to the same place twice, however driving away we both said "I'd like to stay there again, maybe in the Summer so we can enjoy the garden, or Autumn, the views with all the trees changing colour would be stunning, actually it would be a really nice cosy place to stay for a little break in Winter".
There you have it a perfect property for all seasons.
