I am local to the area having been born in Poole Hospital. Despite travelling and working in various places I still find the area to be one of the most beautiful in Europe. I recently moved back to the area.

What makes this Cottage unique
Ashley Cottage in one of only a few remaining historic properties in the heart of the conservation part of Poole. It is a beautiful building and is one of the larger properties with a private walled garden. With access to the town, harbour, beaches and jurrasic coastline and world heritage site you have the best of all worlds.

6 of us had a wonderful time at the cottage; it lived up to what was described in every way. The owner was very generous; firstly, with his time showing us around the house and making sure we had everything we needed, including forward thinking on parking which made it very easy and secondly, with local recommendations and provision of grocery items to get us started and treats. We would highly recommend the Cottage as a place to spend a peaceful week in a charming old part of the town and as a base to explore the area. Don't miss the Russell-Cotes Art gallery and Museum in B'mouth.
Perfect location in Poole
We enjoyed a family vacation here in this wonderful historic cottage. It was very comfortable, impeccably clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the charming private back garden. We did not have a car but the proximity to great dining and grocery shopping options did not make that a problem at all. Very convenient for day trips such as the one we took to Brownsea Island. The hosts Max and Joanna could not have been more accommodating, thoughtful or kind. 11/10 all around from us!
We had a great time in this beautiful cottage. Very clean, great beds, fantastic hosts, nothing too much trouble. Thanks max and Joanna 😊
Many thanks to Max and Joanna.
We had slight issues with parking but it was a bank holiday weekend and we had to keep moving the car as we were back and forwards to a wedding venue half an hour away.
Next time we would just park up and enjoy Poole more.
Beautiful home in a beautiful town
Property was beautiful and immaculately kept. Incredibly clean and spacious. In a great location to get to anywhere and everything you need.
Would thoroughly recommend.
Poole is a great little town to visit, lots of places to eat and walk.
Old town conservation area less than 200 metres from a natural harbour and marina and less than fifteen minutes by car from seven miles of golden beaches. The heart of the New Forest is less than an hour by car/or train and London can be accessed by train in just over two hours.
