We had a lovely stay here over the Easter holidays. The kids loved rock pooling in the harbour right beside and collecting fresh laid eggs from the farmer up the road. They also got the opportunity to feed a baby lamb in the farm across the way. The house is very well equipped and wifi is very good. As with our last stay in West Cork the sun came out for us and we spent two lovely days in allihies at the beach, which is about a half hour drive away. The house is very good value for the price.
We are very pleased that our guest had an enjoyable stay,
and appreciate the Review.
Great location to get away from everything!
This was a great little cottage! Me and my wife spent a few days here and it was a very neat cottage in a great location. The pictures don't do any justice to how nice the surrounding scenery is at this cottage! It's right off the Ring of Beara so if you fancy a drive with stunning scenery then this is an even better location for you! Ardgroom is just down the road where you can get some supplies if you forgot anything.
All in all a great cottage and very helpful owners. Never had any problem contacting them and they were very helpful with any inquiries. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone!
An ideal cottage to rest and unwind
As regular visitors to the Beara we were delighted to find a perfect locatiion to relax and unwind. The rustic charm of a beauifully renovated cottage has everyting that you need and more to have an enjoyable stay. Ideal location for lovely long walks with amazing scenery.Nice and snug with an open fire if you wish. Local manager near- by should you need them. The weather was perfect, yes perfect no rain whatsoever that also enhanced our trip!
We appreciate the good review, and are happy that our guests enjoyed their stay. We just wish to note that based on our recollection, this past May was chillier than usual. Generally we wish to note that the charge for heat and light ranges from 25 to 40 Euro per week.
J'y retourne l'an prochain !
Irischer Sommer in Molly´s Cottage
