Lovely ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with sunny private terrace in award winning exclusive complex. It has direct access to a beautiful enclosed garden with two communal pools. The pools are surrounded by magnificent palm trees and flowering shrubs making it a haven for sunbathing and swimming. The apartment is in immaculate condition, is fully furnished and fitted to a very high standard. It sleeps 4/6, the accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms including bath, showers, bidet, w/c's and sinks. The master b/room has a double bed and the second b/room has twin beds. Both b/rooms have large wardrobes and storage areas and are fully air conditioned. There is an open plan spacious lounge nicely furnished and also air-conditioned, containing 2 couches both convert to comfortable double beds. The lounge has a 32 inch flat screen TV with digital channels where you can enjoy all your favourite UK programmes. The dining area and kitchen are furnished and fitted to a high standard . The electrical appliances include cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer , iron and washer/dryer. The kitchen leads directly to the delightful gardens and pools.The apartment is entered through is own small private front garden containing a terrace dining table and chairs, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or a cool drink and watching the world go by. The front garden overlooks a charmimg green tree lined park. Just 1 minutes walk away you will find the main square containing shops, banks, supermarkets and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. The nearest blue flag sandy beach is only a 500 metre walk away. There are six further blue flag beaches along the magnificent coast line. A superb tree lined promenade connects the beaches making it an ideal and safe place for walkers, joggers and cyclist alike. It is 5 minutes drive from Murcia Airport and 45minutes from Alicante Airport by motorway.

Within a short walk from the apartment there are bus stops with excellent connections to the local towns, villages and Murcia city which is a 50 minute drive away. There are two excellent 18 hole golf courses located 5 minutes drive from the apartment and La Manga with its numerous championship courses is a 25 minute drive. The apartments location on the ground floor makes it ideally accessible for both young and not so young alike and is perfect for guests with mobility issues. The surrounding area are also very flat and level with lovely safe walks and cycling paths.

A must stay

My wife and I stayed in this apartment in December 2008. It was a pleasure to wake up to blue skies every day. Colin, the very helpful manager arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport which was very welcomed as my wife has very bad arthritis and cannot stand for long. The apartment is on the ground floor and was very easy to access. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed being able to watch all our favourite UK channels and few good DVD,s We did not need a car as the shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away and the bus stop to Murcia and Cartagena is very close by. All in all we had a very restful and enjoyable holiday and will definitely be back.

Lovely time spent with friends

Great location, lovely roomy apartment. Everything you need on your doorstep, but not in your face, far enough away to be peaceful, but close enough to food and drink if you want it. The Mar Menor is a pleasant stroll away, a great place to chill for the day on the beach. Spent a week here with some very good friends. Been to the area a number of times over the years, because, it is predominantly Spanish. Will definitely be back.

BEST LOCATION

My wife and I stayed at Brenda's apartment in early June. We have visited Los Alcazares a number of times over the last four years so are becoming familiar with the area. The location of this apartment is arguably the best we have found. As other reviewers have mentioned it is very convenient for shops, restaurants, and beach. The apartment itself on the ground floor is spacious and well laid out with the bonus of a terrace to the front, Throughout the booking process Brenda was helpful and professional as was our airport transfer. Regarding customer service. This was the first time ever that I have been greeted with a personal note wishing us a happy holiday, a (huge) bowl of strawberries, and a bottle of wine ! I have already recommended this property to friends. Many thanks, Jean & Peter

ps. The rating would have been 5 stars had it not been for the rather temperamental washing machine !!

Relaxing family holiday - A pleasure

This is our third return to this exact apartment and I feel I must write a review at this stage! Such a pleasant experience all round. Brenda was most helpful in terms of our very specific needs with regard to our family. This year my husband and I had our two children with us, a lively two year old and ten month old baby. There was a cot and high chair waiting on our arrival and the apartment was immpecably clean as always.

It is situated ideally close to all amenities and a short walk to the beach. I was a bit nervous with two children as we decided not to rent a car but really everything was so close by I needn't have been worried. Each morning I would stroll down to the local bakery with my baby in the pram for freshly baked bread before we would all head out to the beautiful pool which was cleaned daily.

The plaza has a great selection of restaurant and bars, all very child friendly and excellent staff. Our favourite restaurants to visit were Rosalinds & Bentleys. Both serve excellent food, and at very reasonable rates too.

The beach is beautiful and has an ideal walk way which runs the length of the coast - an ideal place for my early morning jog.

Overall, I cannot fault this apartment whatsoever, I just love the ease at which we could all relax and enjoy ourselves. Brenda is excellent in terms of local knowledge and very accommodating. The property manager Graeme is so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Thanks again for such a wonderful, relaxing holiday, I would definitely recommend this apartment and area to anyone looking for a break with children. I will be back again next year, please God!

The apartment is in the centre of Los Alcazares 5 minutes drive from Murcia Airport beside the Mediterranean and endless blue flag white sandy beaches. Alicante Airport is approximately 40 minutes by motorway. There are direct low cost flights from many airports in the UK, Ireland and other European destinations. A car is not necessary as you can walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Taxi/airport transfer is available locally. There is an excellent regular bus service to the local towns of Murcia and Cartegena bus stop 100metres from the apartment. Golfers will be delighted that no less than seven golf courses can be found within easy reach. The renowned La Manga golf course which has three championship courses is 20 minutes drive away. The warm calm sea of the Mar Menor is a bathers paradise with the area averaging 320 days sunshine per year. The World Health Organisation recently declared the province of Murcia the cleanest area in Spain. Bars, cafes & restaurants abundance.

Notes:
The living /dining room has two comfortable sofas (sofa beds) seating six, a coffee table and a number of occasional tables. It also has a large wall unit and sideboard. There is a tv with sky tv which will enable you to watch all your favourite British channels and dvd player. The dining area contains a table and four chairs. The kitchen is extremely weel equipped with fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, oven and ceramic hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, juicer and sandwich maker. It has a large range of cooking utensils. The kitchen has direct access to a beautiful enclosed garden containing adult and children pool. The terrance overlooks a lovely green park with lots of nice trees, it has a dining table and four chairs, there is also a small private front garden which gets lots of sun and deck kchairs are provided for sitting in this area. You can park your car directly outside the apartment and it is just three steps up to the front door. Free Wifi available .
