Thoughtful details and inviting interior
My mother, sister and I shared this apartment while visiting Krakow. It was wonderfully serene and perfectly situated for our walks to the old city. The apartment is large, designed with many thoughtful interior details and fabulous photography shot by the owner. The kitchen is fully equipped with spices, oils, tea, coffee and milk, and the bedrooms are fresh with very comfortable mattresses. A small terrace was a lovely surprise!
We particularly appreciated the owners Insider tips which included local food shops and restaurants and their recommendations on various museums.
Jo and Mark, thank you so much for making our visit so comfortable.
Krakow short break
This is a wonderful apartment in a fantastic location on the edge of the Jewish Quarter and close to Wawel castle. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need. It is beautifully decorated and a calm attic oasis. We are looking forward to coming back and are planning our next trip. Blanka was amazingly helpful throughout as were the owners Jo and Mark.
Ideally situated apartment for exploring Krakow and Kazimierz.
The apartment was light and spacious, and equipped with everything that we needed for our week's stay. That said, apart from two breakfasts we ate out all the time as the apartment is surrounded by many excellent and reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. It is ideally situated to explore Kazimierz, is only 10-15 mins walk to Wawel Castle, and the main town square is a pleasant 20 mins on foot.
I would highly recommend this apartment for any visit to the historical and cultural attractions of Krakow.
The apartment was much bigger than the photos show.
It is really lovely and well equipped.
It’s a short walk to the old town and the Jewish quarter.
Highly recommend. Clean, well equipped, characterful flat in a great location within Kazimierz.
Exceeded expectations. We we were met by key holder who showed us around the flat. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. Three good sized bedrooms and open plan kitchen/living space with balcony for sunny warm days. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Kazimierz district and indeed the whole city. Lots of local bars & restaurants with a wide choice of food. Definitely would stay again :)
Beautiful stylish apartment
I loved the open expansive space of this completely modern renovation in an old Krakow building.... so clean, adequately equipped kitchen, stunning art work, antique and modern furniture.... wish there was air conditioning for the unexpected heat we had in early June .
Thank you for your nice review. Krakow can reach high temperatures in the summer but luckily this doesn't last too long. We will be getting air conditioning for next summer, a little late for you, sorry.
Krakow, the primary tourist destination in Poland and a centre of academic, cultural and artistic life, is a beautiful medieval city boasting many world-class attractions. Our apartment is on a quiet cobbled street in the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, close to historic squares, churches and synagogues, evocative candle-lit bars and excellent (and varied) restaurants. You can visit numerous independent shops and the daily flea market, discover locations used by Steven Spieberg in 'Schindler's List', or cross the Vistula river via the new footbridge to the impressive Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAK), the Historical and WW2 Museums and Schindler's factory. Also on the doorstep are the wonderful Ethnographic Museum, the moving Galicia Jewish Centre and the child-friendly Science and Transport Museum. Historic Wavel Castle is a ten-minute walk away, the Old Town and spectacular main square a further five, although both can also be reached by a leisurely stroll along the river.
Ski: There are many places to ski near Krakow, some of which you can get to using public transport. The nearest are Podstolice (15km), Spytkowice (40km) Polczakowka (65km) and many more slopes and villages in the stunning Tatra mountains, including the main centre of Zakopane (100km). The apartment includes two wooden sledges! In the summer season the Tatras are a wonderful place to walk and hike.
