2 bedroom 2 bathroom sleeps 6 people overlooking pool and gardens

This large 2 bedroom ground floor apartment has three gardens two terraces one front and one in the rear and has a large private terrace for al fresco dining.

There are also private sun loungers provided for our guests to use by the pool or for sunbathing in the apartments private gardens.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes and lead onto the rear terrace one bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a double bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and is adjacent to the family bathroom and both have air conditioning.

The large and spacious living room consists of 2 sofas one being a double sofa bed and leads onto the front terrace. The living room also has a flat screen TV with English programs including ALL SPORTS,

FOOTBALL (WORLD CUP ) AND WORLDWIDE CHANNELS ,USA,French,German ,Portuguese wildlife and discovery channels ,movies and much more and a DVD player. within the living room is a large dining area seating 6 people and is fully air conditioned.

The apartment also has internet Wifi to use during your stay for a small weekly charge ask for details.

The apartment has a fully fitted with a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven hob, microwave and breakfast table.

The apartment is ideal for that relaxing family holiday but there is plenty to do and see.

The apartment also has wifi with unlimited use for a small weekly charge.

The complex is ideal for the family holiday the local beach 900 metres away have lifeguard patrols though out the summer months.

They are free to use and you can hire sun loungers or parasols for a daily charge.

All that glitters is not gold!

Nice well maintained apartment in a six year old complex.However it lacked the personal touch for us and I wouldnt have used 'stunning' to describe it.It was basic. The bath towels were too small , I like a luxurious large soft towel and these were not! There was no hairdryer provided.The bedding was thin and the fitted sheet on one of the single beds was a double sheet so didn't stay in place at all.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped,no bread knife,only one searving dish,a tiny area of work surface,tiny glasses that didn't even hold a bottle of beer and would have been better to have a few plastic larger glasses to take out to the pool area.Although we ate out most nights,it would have been difficult to cook a meal. We were told not to BBQ,although most others around the complex had them on their patios. A welcome pack of wine/beer and basics like bin liners and washing up liquid etc would have made a nice touch. You have to supply much of this yourself on your first day.

The gardens were well maintained although the stray cats used our front garden for a litter tray so that was out of bounds for us. The outdoor eating area was not close to the kitchen and was in a windy spot so we didn't use it at all. The front patio looking onto the pool was more ideal but only had a capuchin style table and two chairs and no room for any more!

We had a leak from the upstairs apartment while we were there and for 5 days had to mop up several times a day whilst the water continued to seep out of the walls,the internal wall was soaked and there was damp on the ceiling too, so that must have been ongoing for a while. We reported it strtaight away to avoid further damage and the rep came straight away and whilst the owner is grateful that we prevented any serious damage,seems unable to offer us any compensation for our inconvenience saying it's not their fault. There was also a blocked sink in the kitchen,which again the rep sorted quickly for us.

We have eaten at some really great places,been out to great beaches and had beautiful sunshine ,so our holiday has not been ruined totally but I would not recommend this apartment if you are expecting luxury and comfort.

Owner's Response: Sadly we do receive reviews that are not accurate and try and spoil it for future guests as is in this case. With regards to a lot of their comments it is down to their personal views ie towels No they are not luxurious towels they are hotel quality, they are forewarned in their reservation form that no hairdryer is supplied, this is for safety reasons, as to the bedding it is of hotel quality and does fit the bed adequately. this property is self catering and basic house hold products are available at the beginning although will need replenishing during their stay. Again personal opinion of kitchen where previous guests were satisfied with what was available to them. The apartment is clearly advertised without a bbq although others may have had them that is down to personal choice not a requirement. We are not in control of the wild life who may enter the outdoor areas. These guests are the first to complain about not being able to eat out. The kitchen area directly leads to patio area where a very large table is provided for Al fresco dining. Again we are not in control of the windy weather however the garden has high shrubs so would of acted as a wind break. The front patio is only small again due to design but is compensated but the extremely large back private terrace and own private garden area. Unfortunately the apartment above ours had a shower leak which caused an issue for these guests. A plumber was called to come and solve the situation and stop the flow of water and the guests did have to mop the excess water that was still filtering through. As they say our staff member was there to solve the issue as quickly as possible. Due to our booking conditions compensation is not applicable if issue has been caused by a third party but we did our best to resolve the issue within a couple of days. Please do not be put off by this review as this is a lovely ground floor apartment with large outdoor space and we have repeat guests year in year out revisiting us which proves a more honest review on this apartment than this guest has claimed.

Beautiful apartment, of very his standard

Spacious apartment, beautifully clean & well equipped. Grounds are very well maintained, beautiful gardens, lovely pool & jacuzzi. Just a short drive to the beach, with 2 welcoming beach restaurants - Antonio's just pipped it for us. Large supermarket - Intermarche - again, only short drive away, with everything you need. Would recommend to couples and families alike.

The apartment is located on the exclusive ocean villas and apartment complex just 900 metres from the Porto do Mos beach. The beach is golden sand and stretches for 5 km and has two fantastic restaurants on serving excellent fresh foods and cold drinks all year around. The city of Lagos is 2 km away and is a Roman built walled city dating back from the 5th century and still retains many of its cobbled streets and arch entries into the city.

Lagos has a natural harbour that is home to a large fishing fleet and a modern marina that has plenty of restaurants cafes and bars. The marina has daily boat trips for dolphin watching and fishing trips or just cruising the Algarve coastline. The centre of Lagos offers plenty of night-life for all ages from the typical Portuguese music restaurants to the European live music and terrific restaurants serving excellent food from around the world. There are several golf courses close by all championship class and water parks for all ages.

Golf: There are several golf courses close by and our clients are offered discounted rates all year around.

One of the most famous courses is Boavista and is 4 km away and is open all year around and offers a great discounted rates.

The other course that is close by is Palmerias again this is championship class is open all year and and has five star facilities such as restaurants and a couple of bars.
