This comfortable and superbly-equipped apartment is located in a small block of apartments a short walk from the centre of the Savoyard village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise.

Easiest thing is if you scroll down to the bottom and take a look at our VIDEO, as that will give you an idea of what the apartment is truly like, but if you prefer some words, here they are:-

The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with quality appliances, flat screen TV, DVD player and HiFi. The open plan kitchen / dining / living room has galley kitchen with dishwasher, full-size Bosch oven / grill, radiant 4-ring hob, Nespresso machine with frother and fridge / freezer. The large traditional pine dining table has seating for up to eight people, while the living area has comfortable seating for six, with 26' flat screen TV, CD and DVD players and south-facing balcony with wonderful views.

There are three bedrooms, all with access to balconies - the Master double with en suite shower room, a second bedroom with twin beds that can be zipped together to make a King, and one with full-size bunk beds; there is also a further family bathroom (with washer/drier) and separate WC.

Glorious fluffy towels are provided, together with crisp cotton bed-linen.

Why Ian Locke chose Val d'Isere - Tignes - Sainte Foy

We loved the location in the village of Ste Foy Tarentaise rather than the ski station, as it's an authentic, friendly Savoyard village, and offers the benefit of having the major resorts of Les Arcs, Tignes / Val d'Isere and La Rosiere all within 20 minutes' drive, whilst still being only 15 minutes from Sainte Foy itself.

Well equipped , convenient and comfortable

Super apartment - caffeine addicts liked the Nespresso coffee machine . Loved the resort of Ste Foy . It is small but the snow was great and the slopes were almost empty. So all in all a great stay.

Excellent Holiday at Silver Fox Apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Silver Fox Apartment in Ste Foy Tarentaise. We loved the apartment, by far the best we've stayed in during many years of family ski trips. Very clean, comfortable and well laid out. Ian Locke, the owner, did everything possible to make the arrangements and arrival as easy as possible. The village is a bit of a drive from the slopes, but it's on the Navette bus route. If you've got transport it's within easy range of three major ski areas, as well as Ste Foy Station itself, where the skiing is excellent. Covered parking was particularly handy. The village itself has retained much of its original quiet Alpine character.

IDEAL LOCATION FOR SKIING PARADISKI + TIGNES + LA ROSIERE + SAINTE FOY TARENTAISE

Being located in Ste Foy Village means that you have easy access to a total of FIVE major ski areas - Paradiski (Les Arcs, La Plagne), La Rosiere, Tignes, Val d'Isere and Sainte Foy Tarentaise - all within 15 minutes.

You are therefore pretty much guaranteed of being able to find yourself somewhere to ski, regardless of whether it's a good or bad year for snow.

Ski: The skiing at Ste Foy Tarentaise starts from the ski resort at 1550m, with slopes extending up to 2620m. In total, there are only 35km of pistes, although the key attraction of Ste Foy is the off-piste skiing.

The skiing at Ste Foy is accessed initially via a single lift (in spite of which though, there are generally few queues, even in peak ski season) leading up from the resort to Plan Bois, at 1710m. From there, a further ski lift leads up to the Col de l'Aiguille at 2620m, from which you can then drop down to join the recently installed new lift La Marquise, leading from Charmettes at 1800m to Marquise at 2500m - opening up a series of red and blue descents.
