I rented this twice, At New Year's and in March 2017. I have rented before at Grand Bear and this is by far the nicest unit we have seen. Unlike those booked through the resort, this is stocked with supplies and amenities you would hope for in a luxury unit! More than you can ask for. Owner has extra air beds, luxury towels, kitchen extras, even cozy throws! It feels more like home than a rental. Owner is absolutely wonderful. You won't be disappointed!

“Great place to stay for a beautiful fall weekend”
This cabin is a great place to stay. We all came in for a class reunion in October. The size of the cabin was perfect for all of us .....enough beds and bathrooms. Lori (the owner) was so easy to work

"Gorgeous Cabin in Starved Rock Area"
This gorgeous cabin has all the amenities of home! It is decorated beautifully and is stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable vacation. Lori is wonderful to work with and sees that everything is just as you like it. The area has great hiking and views at Starved Rock and Deer Park that are only minutes from the cabin. We will definitely stay here again. It is perfect place for reunions with family or friends.
