The farm was purchased by my grandparents in 1948 and I have lived in the farmhouse here for most of my life. The farm was originally a dairy farm in my parents time, I was a teacher and along with my husband, farmed sheep here until very recently but we have now scaled things back. No lambing = more time to do a bit of hill walking and pursue our musical hobbies.
Jean purchased this Cottage in 1948
Why Jean chose Littleborough
When I travel around some of the beautiful scenic places in the UK, I often ask myself whether I would like to live there? Usually the answer is if I forget to buy bread, it's a long way to go back to the shops! It is very quiet here, we have fantastic views but it is so easy to drive down into Littleborough unless we have snow!
What makes this Cottage unique
Although the cottage has been converted from a traditional building, it has a modern feel. It is has good natural light in all the rooms.
