About James Logan
Hi, I'm James and this is my wife Ayako. We have two kids and they are aged 12 and 14. I was born in Kent, grew up in London, worked in Japan for over 20 years and moved back to the UK in 2012. I've sailed a lot over the years but recently do mostly long walks around the UK and around Bridge. We enjoy camping and staying in other people's holiday lets in the UK and France. I used to spend 14 hours a day in a suit but now I'm either digging, planting or painting a wall !
James Logan purchased this House in 2015

Wonderful accommodation, great location
We spent a long weekend at Bridge cottages. They was immaculate with everything we could possibly need. The three children in our party of 9 loved playing on the swing in the huge garden.
The location was near both Canterbury and beaches and we aim to be back as we enjoyed it so much.
Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful garden
Really lovely cottages with a huge back garden that has easy access to fields and local walks. Very quiet village with 2/3 pubs in walk distance. Everything catered for in the cottages. Great place for our family of 10.
Easy to get to park & ride for Canterbury where we enjoyed the river tour. Easy to get to Whitstable about 25 mins away. Will be returning no doubt.
Great for large Parties
This is a lovely property. We were a party of 10 Adults and stayed here for my Mum’s 80 birthday weekend. There was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and glasses, there is a massive table which comfortable seats 10. All the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are all lovely. Would defiantly stay again.
Fantastic accomodation in a great location
We spent a lovely long weekend at Bridge Cottages as a party of 9. The cottages were immaculate with decor and furnishings to a high standard. James was a great host, ensured we had all we needed without being intrusive. The garden was amazing and we could visit Canterbury and the coast easily. Highly recommend!
Great experience with a wonderful host
I and five school friends had a great time in James’s cottages to celebrate my 60th and reunite after so many years. The cottages are equipped and furnished to a high standard. James is a great host who gives clear guidance and is available when needed. The cottages are quiet and provide privacy. Bridge is a lovely village that has welcoming pubs, beautiful countryside walks, and is within a short drive of the splendors of Canterbury. This was a wonderful experience I’d thoroughly recommend.
Comfortable and well presented
The cottages proved ideal for our stay over Xmas and NY. We were ten in number and the room and bathroom set up was ideal. The rooms, and facilities were all very well prepped and very much appreciated the Xmas tree supplied including decorations!! All round a great two weeks
