Guestbook comments from the manager

Dear Sophie

I would be very happy to write a review but I am struggling to access the webpage. Is there another way to leave a review? If you can post it yourself, my review would be:

"Berkeley House is absolutely gorgeous. Tucked away in the quiet country lanes just outside the centre of Bath, it played host to a very enjoyable weekend. The friendly and helpful owners were there to greet us when we arrived. Having showed us around and made us feel at home, they left us to enjoy everything that Berkeley House had to offer for the rest of our stay but I have no doubt that they would have been on hand if we needed anything. The House had everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable: plenty of space inside for everyone to spread out; logs for the cosy open fire in the evenings; a pretty garden with plenty of tables and chairs to sit in the sunshine; table tennis and other activities; lovely crisp clean bed linen and towels; the list could go on. I would highly recommend a stay at Berkeley House."

All the best

Amazing weekend, amazing house and a lovely setting

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived at the property we were greeted with warm hands, the owners kindly showed us around and made sure we were setup. The house is beautiful, great entertaining space at the front of the house. The village has a lovely pub with great atmosphere. Overall 10/10! Bath is only a two minute taxi ride which is perfect for somewhere to eat. Highly recommend this place for all kinds of people. Thank you again for having us stay in your home. Charles

"AT HOME" AWAY FROM HOME

  • 5 of 5

Dear Paul, A huge thank you from Jane and I for allowing us to use your beautiful home in the Cotswolds. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our four daughters, their husbands and 2 grandchildren. We felt at home from the moment that we arrived. Everything was easy to use and access, from your instrutions to enter the house to using the AGA in the kitchen. We had the most wonderful time, even the weather was made to order. Your home was as luxurious as staying in an hotel but better. Our two young grandchildren in our party were very much part of our celebrations but at bedtime they went peacefully to bed. They also felt very much 'at home' away from home. We can't thank you enough for giving us the opprotunity to stay in such a perfect setting. With very best wishes from Jane & Michael O'Connell

A beautiful property in a lovely setting.

  • 5 of 5

The house was just what we wanted for our Golden Wedding celebration, a large, comfortable home where family members could settle in and where we could host a celebration lunch for a group of friends. The house is well-equipped and bedrooms are spacious. The owner was very helpful in discussing our plans in advance. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to explore the nearby countryside, though a few of our group did go canoeing nearby.

What a great place, the house is absolutely stunning, facilities are great, views are incredible. We had an absolutely great time, can't thank the owners enough. Really friendly down to earth owners too, happy to chat over the phone about any questions and really open to negotiation about arrival and check-out times. Thoroughly recommend it!!

We had an amazing time here! We wanted a location that was beautiful and great for a social gathering and this was perfect. There was so much space and it was so well thought out.
