Located at the heart of St Germain des Prés, and its historical centre, the apartment, after a day spent visiting the capital or working hard, will provide peace and rest for you.
Completely renovated a year ago, with top-of-the-range equipment, minimalist furnishings, high comfort beddings, the loft has the advantage of being wide under high ceiling, giving a little bit more light and space.
Wi-Fi, dock pad, international television channels. Wi-Fi printer.
Great location, clean apartment, absolutely hospitable and helpful owner. Nothing to complain about.

What a LOVELY apt in the heart of St Germaine. It looks EXACTLY like the pics and was spic-and-span clean. I booked at the last minute and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. The apt had everything I needed and them some. I can't say enough about how beautifully decorated the apt is, how friendly the owner was and how helpful the woman was who checked me in. I would disregard the other review and stay here without hesitation!
(a) Location: great with shops, restaurants, cafes...; the flat is also near metro and several bus stops. About 15-20 minutes walking to some museums (e.g. Louvre, Orsay)
(b) Amenities: There are a Dishwasher & a W/D in addition to other kitchen appliances; also cable TV (in French only though).
(c) Relatively flexible check-in/out time upon request.
(d) Spacious: The flat is pretty spacious with an additional sofa bed for one.
(a) Absent owner: I never met the owner in person
(b) Non-English speaking hostess: the owner sent a French woman who cannot speak English to give me an orientation at check-in; a lot of hand gestures and guessing went on and she missed giving me some demonstrations/explanations (e.g., just pointing to a manual for the stove top, which I later found out had NO English; failing to mention where to press the power button for the cable TV box). When I ran into difficulty and requested further help from the owner or an English-speaking person, instead of apologizing, the owner laid the blame on me, saying that there is only the cleaning lady and that was how she has always done the orientation. He further said other foreign guests before me had understood the cleaning lady without any problems, and I should have paid better attention to her instructions.
(c) Broken appliance: 04 days into my one-week stay, the washer door fell apart, flooding the kitchen floor with soapy water. I had to spend my vacation time to mop it up. I tried to text/email the owner the whole day. He didn't get back to me until the next day, and since it was the weekend, he informed me that nothing could be done. He had known of the problem (someone else had broken it) but failed to mention that to me. Nor offering me any compensation for my inconvenience.
(d) Stairs: the flat is on the 3rd floor (American) and the stairs are narrow and a bit uneven, which is not uncommon in Europe, particularly with older buildings. My other airbnb hosts under the same circumstance in this trip had offered to help me with my luggage at check in and check out. Not this owner.
(e) Misrepresentation of some details: The flat description specifically mentions that it was remodeled "one year ago" and that there was a "Wifi printer." However, the remodeling was in 2010 and no wifi printer could be found.
(f) Misc.: the bed was NOT made for guests at check in. You have to buy your own washing detergent. I was given 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper and that's it.
