Charles and Sally have lived in the area since getting married in 1988. Our children have all grown up in Wiltshire and only the youngest is still living at home. We have a much loved Border Terrier called Boris, a cat called Mowgli and 4 hens.

Why Sally Osborne chose Devizes
Wiltshire is an enchanted place where you feel close to the earth and the ever-changing big skies. Renowned for iconic white horses carved into the rolling downs, almost half of Wiltshire is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are numerous ways to enjoy our quintessentially English countryside, from walking, cycling and horse-riding to fishing, golf, canal boat trips and more. With so many food and drink options you can relax while sampling traditional Wiltshire specialities at tearooms, pubs and restaurants around the county. Enjoy a little retail therapy at the designer and factory outlets in Swindon and Wilton or browse the many independent retailers to be found in the charming market towns.

Cosy luxurious stay in Copse cottage
Such a great weekend in this marvellous cottage. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is so well thought out. It's spacious, homely and has a touch of luxury. We spent time in Avebury, Devizes and the Kennet and Avon canal as they are all in short distance. Highly recommended!
Thank you Sally
Thank you for your lovely review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am glad you found time to visit the World Heritage Site of Avebury with its Neolithic stone circles, quite a spectacular sight. I hope you get a chance to visit us again sometime. Best wishes to you both.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. Everything was taken care of to the last detail - and while Sally ensured our privacy, was always available to attend to any request. The Cottage was private, spotlessly clean and ideally situated at the edge of a lovely village and in a beautiful part of England with lots to see and do in the immediate area. We have been driving around the UK for a month and this stay was a standout.
Many thanks indeed for your lovely comments. It was a pleasure to meet you both and I am glad you made use of the wood burning stove, so perfect when the weather is miserable outside. I hope my suggestions for places to visit were useful. Wishing you safe onward travels in the UK.
Excellent stay in a wonderfully kitted out cottage.
Property has been done to a very high standard making it a lovely place to stay. Rural setting but places to see near by. Highly recommended.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave me such a lovely review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.
Perfect cottage for two in lovely location
We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend in Copse Cottage. Everything we could have wished for had been thought of - and on top of that, the weather was great, for the end of October. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return for another visit.
Thank you for your kind review and we were so pleased you had some lovely autumn sunshine in which to enjoy the delights of the Wiltshire countryside. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Copse Cottage really is the perfect cosy hideaway for two!
Myself and my husband have just returned from a lovely long weekend feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and thoroughly spoilt. The cottage is stylishly yet thoughtfully presented and we literally wanted for nothing. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and super comfortable with lots of little touches that made you feel instantly that your stay was going to be something special. The bed was very comfortable and beautifully dressed, bathroom luxurious and curling up in front of the wood burning stove in the evening was so cosy and positively romantic! Who could want for more?
We were blessed with beautiful autumn sunshine and made use of the pretty patio area overlooking woodland and rolling hills beyond. We strolled into the village which was picture perfect and enjoyed a drink in the local pub. There is a handy little shop for essentials too.
Further afield we visited Devises which had a good range of shops for supplies and a pretty square at its centre. Marlborough was close by too with it’s impressively wide High Street just perfect for a browse. Essential is a visit to Pollys Tea Rooms for afternoon tea or breakfast....delicious! If you enjoy walking then Cean Hill Locks and Jubliee Wood are a must. The Locks are an amazing feat of engineering and there is a pretty pub with a garden on the side of the canal where you can sit and watch the boats glide by with a glass of wine.....perfect!
We both had a wonderful stay in All Cannings and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this stunning property! We will be back......
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so glad you loved the cottage, and you clearly made the most of your time here. You were lucky to have some beautiful autumn sunshine in which to enjoy the countryside and towns nearby. We really hope to see you again.
