Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time staying at the Lake Tahoe condo. The condo was very close to the fantastic Incline beaches. The condo was well laid out and furnished. Above all, it was very clean. The Forest Pine complex had a very nice club house, pool and hot tub. We will most definitely stay again in the future.

What a fantastic family getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

I could not have asked for a better condo or location!

My husband and I booked a week at the condo to enjoy time with our four college kids (ok, two are out now). Because we are spread across the west coast and Hawaii, this was the perfect place to meet and enjoy some much needed family time. There was plenty of sleeping areas in the condo to accommodate all of us, and I really appreciated that the master bedroom was upstairs, away from the millennials staying up chatting until early morning hours. The condo was well supplied with linens, towels, and everything you could want for cooking. The location was ideal for walking along trails, to town, and Starbucks.... I did mention that there were four millennials with us.

We were there in August and the weather could not have been more perfect. We did get out every day and enjoyed some amazing hikes - Monkey Rock, Picnic Table Rock, and Eagle Rock are all spectacular! We rented a boat to see the lake, enjoyed a day kayaking and paddle boarding at Sand Harbor, rafted down the Truckee River, spent an evening at South Shore and even took a tour of the University of Reno campus... yes, one of the kids attends school there!

If you have never been to Tahoe, I would highly recommend it, and I would highly recommend this condo! The owner's have really spent some time to make it feel like a home away from home... you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful secluded condo just a short walk to the beach

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in this great condo. The place is extremely comfortable, with everything you need for a special get-away. The Tahoe environment can't be beat, and this place makes it so accessible! Communications with Joanna was flawless. She was a great hostess, making sure everything we needed was available. We went swimming in the condo's pool & hot-tub, but the best thing was swimming in the lake every day! We definitely took advantage of the nice BBQ available. We also went on great hikes, just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple or a family, summer or winter!

Perfect for families

  • 4 of 5

We recently stayed in the condo with another family. It was just the right size for the eight of us. All the kids are under 6. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and some extra ingredients we had forgotten. One small issue we had was that we had to stagger showers because the hot water ran out our first night. I would definitely stay here again. So close to the lake, stores and a short drive to Diamond Peak!

Great home-away-from-home Condo

  • 5 of 5

As a busy family of four, we rarely get the opportunity to take an extended vacation. My husband grew up in the mountains and we were married nearby in Squaw Valley, so Tahoe holds a very special place in our hearts. The weekend we stayed in Joanna's condo in Incline Village, the weather was gorgeous and the snow plentiful. Our kids, aged 17 and 2, absolutely loved playing in the snow, and my oldest was able to capture some beautiful pictures of the landscape during her mid-day walk. It was Super Bowl weekend when we stayed at the condo and the accommodations were perfect. There was plenty of room both downstairs and upstairs and the bonus media room really worked out perfectly for our oldest. She cozied up in warm blankets and watched movies as my son slept in a nearby room on the same floor while my husband and I were able to view the game on the TV upstairs without disturbing anyone. The master suite upstairs really is like a separate apartment from the downstairs and is perfect for large gatherings or just a nice couples getaway. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in away from home -- so comfy, we did NOT want to go back home to ours! Overall, the condo is tastefully decorated, warm, cozy, and inviting. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed -- in fact, we ate every meal at home which was a real bonus because sometimes you just don't want to hassle with getting the troops together to go out to eat. Joanna's place has more than enough room to accommodate families and the nearby restaurants, slopes, and shops make it easy to get around without needing to hop in a car every time. We would absolutely recommend this condo to others and without hesitation, we would stay at the condo again ourselves. In fact, we may just go back this Summer! If you are looking for a cozy, family-friendly, quiet-community to take your next vacation -- consider Joanna's condo. You will not be disappointed!

Great Family Weekend in the Snow!

  • 5 of 5

After several years of little rain or snow, we were so lucky to find Joanna's town house in Incline Village to gather the family together - including our newest addition - our four month old grand-daughter. The snow was the best in years and Incline such a reasonable place to ski compared to the rest of Tahoe - especially if you are ov70+ (Over 80 is free!). The house has a wonderful master with King bed - super comfy- and gorgeous en suite. The right combination of beds worked well for us and a separate sitting room added some bonus space. Upgraded kitchen came with all amenities and was well stocked with a large dining table for all of us where cooking in was a treat followed by a good selection of board games. For early skiers (8:15) a bus stops outside the entrance to Forest Pines before proceeding to Diamond Peak then runs every half hour back after 2 PM. A big supermarket is nearby and the wood-burning fireplace was such a nice treat after a great day of skiing. We checked out the Clubhouse hot tub and were surprised at what a nice facility this was - only a couple doors down from our townhouse and a great place to unwind with a nice liquer (make sure it's in plastic!).

All in all we will agreed we would use this place again as a winter resort and likely be persuaded to try it in the summer given its proximity to the lake and the nice shared pool. A great family spot with great hosts! I was really impressed.!

Great place for a large group!

  • 5 of 5

We were 7 people and had enough space to spread out:-) We loved the set up of the spacious condo and especially the kitchen / dining area as we love to cook. Everything was there, modern kitchen and appliances, lots of pots and pans, etc., nice fire place, laundry facilities... Definitely worth coming with the family. The kids also enjoyed the clubhouse with the hot tub. I am sure, we will be back!
