No 4 Atlantic View is a dormer bungalow situated on the edge of Waterville village nestled away in a small development of 8 holiday homes over looking Ballinskelligs Bay. Great care has been taken in the design and furnishing of this house. Accommodation down stairs includes a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances including washing machine, microwave and gas cooker. There is a bright tastefully furnished living room with an open fire. 2 of four bedrooms are located down stairs as well as the main bathroom. Upstairs there is a double and a twin room each with en-suite.
At the side of the house is a patio with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, equipped with an eight seater circular table and barbecue.
At the rear is a large back garden with a garage racked and complete to store golf or fishing gear. Also holds an outside freezer.
Waterville is a picturesque little village overlooking the stunning Ballinskelligs Bay.The Village is renowned for its friendly Bars, Cafes and excellent Restaurants,.Also there is a Giftshop and Village Market with a great selection of local produce. Accommodation in Waterville really is the perfect base for making the most of your visit to South West Kerry.
Golfing in Waterville is an experience every golfer should have. There are two magnificent courses here. The main course is rated among the top five courses in Ireland and the top twenty links courses in the world.
The second links course is a relatively new course and poses a challenge for even the top golfers also the scenery on both courses is breath taking.
Waterville village is right beside the beautiful lough Currane which is known to have some of the best Salmon and sea trout fishing in Europe Currane is well known for producing specimen fish. There are also a number of local loughs such as Derriana, Namona, Cloonaghlin, and Coppal which all hold salmon and sea trout but also hold wild brown trout.
I am an experienced International fly fishing angler and can offer a lot of valuable information needed when fishing in the Kerry region. I also have boats and engines for hire on a number of the main lakes. Supplied when hiring boats are maps displaying recommended drifts when fly fishing, also salmon and sea trout lies when trolling. As I am a keen fly tier I can also supply the angler with flies to suite the water he or she is fishing on.
Best months for the above fishing is May, June, end of August, September.
Sea fishing around the area of Waterville is exceptionally good as there are sandy beaches cliffs and rocks that holds an abundant of fish such as bass flounder plaice wrasse pollock dog fish cod turbot and mackerel.
Scuba diving sailing surfing water skiing boating and swimming are all catered for at Derrynane beach.

YEARLY RENTAIL INFORMATION: We advertised our holiday home for the summer of 2012 and 2013. As we had a new arrival to our family in 2014 we did not advertise our property this year. In late April 2015 we renewed our advertising web page with Home And Away.
Lovely house and site. Tony was very helpful before arriving recomendations for golf and Skellig were perfect. Indications how to arrive also fine. Just a request for next year....we need something where to hang our hats....thanks for everything!
This is our second time staying in Waterville. We decided to stay closer to the village this year and were only a couple of minutes walk from the village. The house was beautiful, a lovely tidy comfortable open plan house. The area is very safe and ideal for children. We had a very relaxing holiday there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation . Fantastic value. I would definitely return.
Myself and my family had a wonderful stay last week. All rooms were bright, modern and very spacious. We had great views and a great location. We really enjoyed our break.
We stayed in this house for a week. The house is maintained very well and was spotlessly clean on arrival. It was also very well equipped and a much higher standard than other rental properties we have stayed in. The house was in a great location and was just a short stroll in the evening to the restaurants and bars in Waterville village. From this location we toured to many other areas including the nearby beautiful Caherdanial beach where many watersports were available. There is also a great sea food restaurant outside Cahirciveen. We also enjoyed playing golf on the 2 golf courses in Waterville one of which is a Links Course. It was also a short drive to the excellent Killarney Golf Course.
Given that we were in Waterville on a golfing holiday the large garage was racked out to store our golf equipment. A real bonus for golfing enthusiasts!
We were extremely happy with the accommodation. It was perfect for our family of five and we had room for extra visitors staying during the week.. The house was spotless and was exactly what we were expecting. It was a short stroll into the village which was great. We also used the house as a base to travel to other areas of Kerry. We would definitely recommend the house, really enjoyed the holiday and will quite probably go back again.
Fantastically located. 5 min walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Very private cul-de-sac where the kids loved playing on the private green. The view of the ocean in the mornings was fab. House was very comfortable inside and very clean. Delighted all round. No complaints!
Right behind this property. Less then 60 seconds away is the Waterville Inn Pub. A quite bar famous for its fine pints of Guinness.
