2 Bedroom, 2 Bath With Mountain Views Located Near Downtown Canmore
About Shelley Mitchell
We have lived in small town Alberta our entire lives and live within one hour of Canmore. Our family has traveled to many vacation spots around the world but Canmore has always been a special place for us with two of our children getting married in the area. We decided that we wanted to make Canmore a more permanent part of our lives and are happy to be able to share it with you.
Shelley Mitchell purchased this Condo in 2016
Why Shelley Mitchell chose Canmore
We have found over the years that Canmore provides it all... adventure, relaxation, rejuvenation or time to reconnect. With its beautiful scenery, active downtown shopping and eateries or wilderness treks it a fantastic place to call home base.

Fabulous stay in Canmore, great condo, amazing trip!
We stayed in Shelley's condo for over 2 weeks and had an amazing time! The unit is on the end of the building, second floor so you have amazing views of the mountains. It's a short walk to a few restaurants and a convenience store. You can also walk to downtown and the grocery store if you like. Check in was easy, the unit was incredibly clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Even has some fans which was great. You can hear the train as others point out, but we didn't notice it and it surely didn't effect out stay at all. The wifi is strong enough to stream movies, the unit has one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had in a rental. Shelley even provides a park pass to use. For those visiting the area the first time, Banff and Lake Louise are in national parks and this pass lets you explore as far as you like and was a great amenity. We went all the way up to the Icefields, did numerous hikes, the area is stunning. Everywhere you look it's mountians. There are numerous "things to do" pamphlets in the unit and in the office. We used the ToGoCanada delivery service a few times to try out local restaurants when we were to tired to go back out after a long day of activities. The living room furniture is super comfy and there is plenty of storage and hooks for all your belongings. We will be back next year and look to stay here again!
Canmore area is easy access to the area
This was a great location to get to Banaff and Lake Louise. We even took one whole day to see the Columbia Icefields. There are sly lots of great hikes in the loco area we enjoyed.
We would stay here again if ever in the area.
Great views and a lovely condo!
This condo is a corner unit, which has its perks and downfalls. The condo itself was very clean, is a nice size, and had a lot of amenities. A couple things we were surprised by: no kleenex, no dryer sheets, and we were only allowed to run the washer on the short wash cycle (which runs about 15 minutes at most, so we didn't really feel like our clothes got all that clean). They have the rules and regulations under the coffee table for whoever needs to view them, and the Lodges at Canmore will give you maps and other information when you check in. A couple downfalls to being on the corner: 1) the train that goes by quite a bit. I was woken up every day at 4 am because the train went by that early in the morning... and then again around 5 am, and 6 am and again around 6:30. It continues on until after 10 pm. If you're a light sleeper, be aware of that. The unit also sits pretty close to the roundabout, which means everyone who owns a muscle car or motorcycle feels the need to rev their engines when going through it, whether is 1 pm or 3 am. Again, just so you're aware if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, it's close to a trail that takes you into town, and Canmore itself is easily negotiable if you follow trails and just leave your car there. Parking is at a premium downtown so be prepared to drive around a lot when looking for a place to park there- which is why my husband and I left our car in the underground parking space provided with this rental instead. The condo has great views of the mountains (which can't be said for all of the rentals in this area), I got a couple sunrise and sunset photos from the balcony. The kitchen is a nice size and we were able to make some meals so we weren't so annoyed by greasy restaurant food again and again. The beds were really comfortable and a down comforter is provided on both beds for those cool/cold fall and winter days. Shelley is very good about responding back to questions and she worked with us to reschedule our visit since we weren't able to make it work with the original date. Overall, I'd recommend this property and if our bucket list wasn't so long, we'd come back year after year to this location.
Great location, very clean
Was in a great location, clean, had everything we needed. Hot tub was great after a long day of hiking.
Spotless, great location, enjoyed our experience immensely. Thank you to our hosts.
