|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
In low season Villa Ca'Paz can be rented partially. Then it is suitable for one family or e.g. 2 couples (max. 6 people).
The location of Villa Ca'Paz is ideal! Near villages, beaches and relatively close to golf courses. And not far from great tracks for hiking either!
The main floor of Villa Ca'Paz is like a bungalow. Suitable for 1 family or one or 2 couples (up to 6 people). On the same floor you will find a lovely spacious living room, which is in open communication with a large, well equipped kitchen. Additionally you will find two spacious bedrooms and one smaller bedroom. All with spacious wardrobes. There are 2 bathrooms, one with bath / shower, toilet, bidet and 2 sinks and other bathroom has a shower, toilet and 1 sink. The house is wonderfully light and all rooms have a beautiful view.
This special villa with saltwater pool and many extras (e.g. table tennis, huge trampoline) stands on a large, fully fenced plot (7000m2). The main floor has high ceilings and all around there is beautiful view. The special and well-equipped kitchen (e.g. oven, microwave, dishwasher) has an open connection with the tasteful spacious lounge where you can enjoy the comfortable sofas and a 51' flat screen and satellite TV that provides all channels (Dutch, Norwegian, Discovery, National Geographic e.a.). The villa is equipped with WIFI and ADSL, and all rooms have air conditioning. The villa has 2 floors (own entrance), each with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (total 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen + kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, stove). Ideal for 4 couples with children. There is even a large dormitory for the kids (max. 8)! There is private parking for 4 cars and an automatic sliding gate.
This villa is a delight, also for children! Besides the water pool (no green hair or red eyes from the chlorine), table tennis and trampoline (3,5m) the plot is ideal for a nice play. One bedroom is so large that a dormitary can be created for eg. 6 kids, including a large breakfast table, so they can have their own territory! Apart from the beach where kayaks, pedal boats and windsurf boards can be rented (especially on the beach of Albir, which is 4km away), you can take the kids for a change to visit one of the water parks Aqualandia or Aqua Natura, Mundomar (dolphins, sealions, etc.), Terra Natura (zoo) or the theme park Terra Mitica. All these parks are within a radius of 12km. And while the children take their swim at night in the illuminated pool, you can enjoy the balmy summer evening, the sound of the crickets and the content of the refrigerator by the pool ...
Special atmosphere, original details: Ca'Paz villa has been lovingly renovated (2009) and furnished. There are elements that have been preserved just as the special bathroom upstairs and large round windows with the typical Spanish 'rejas' (curled ironwork) in the window frame. Strips of beach pebbles give the floor an extra touch, and because the house is so light, the atmosphere is very friendly. The covered terrace by the pool, painted in a beautiful blue, has a kind of an 'Ibiza feel' and the tiny covered kitchenette with a refrigerator and worktop. Te BBQ is a delight! Here you can linger until late at night at a large dining table with comfortable chairs. The illumination at night of the pool and terraces, gives an enchanting atmosphere. On the other side of the house there is another covered terrace, where you can relax in comfortable chairs. A cool summer evening or chilly early spring afternoon get an extra dimension because of the fireplace.
Restaurants for every taste: Whether you like fresh fish, paella or trying out all kinds of tapas, Altea has it all. The so-called 'chiringuitos' (typical beach restaurants, only open during the summer season) offer delicious paella, squid and sardines on the grill, or delicious salads with bread and garlic mayonnaise. Imagine, all of you sitting at a long table, on a pebble beach and the light of the setting sun over the Mediterranean as a backdrop ... not hard to imagine, right? Of course, besides the typical Spanish restaurants Altea offers a wide variety of restaurants where you can enjoy French and Italian cuisines. At Villa Ca'Paz you will find a detailed description of the various restaurants and bars.
From our initial enquiry and throughout our stay the owner was extremely helpful in answering any questions that we had. The owner provided lots of additional information including suggesting a cooking service which we used on our last evening and was a perfect end to our holiday. From the first time we stepped into the villa we felt at home. The villa and grounds are very spacious and secure and when we entered the villa it was spotlessly clean. The villa has about 7 outdoor sitting or eating areas, (plus the indoor spaces) which meant that with 6 adults and 6 teenagers there was never a problem for space. We had breakfast on the upstairs balcony, many long lunches under the shaded pool terrace and dinner down near the BBQ area, and pre dinner drinks on the shaded back terrace before heading to Altea or Albir for dinner. The proximity to the beach and Albir or Altea was perfect. Strolling down to the beach or town during the day was only 20 – 25 minutes and we used taxis in the evening to get into Altea (although you could walk). Altea is a beautiful town with many excellent restaurants and quaint streets to wander around. We would love to return to Ca Paz in the future as this is the nicest villa we have stayed in.
On the lead up to our stay, Ellen, the owner, was superb with her communication. All questions were answered promptly.
On arrival at the villa, we were met by Anneke who proved to be most helpful in talking us through everything we needed to know and we had the assurances that help was at hand if we needed it. A particularly nice touch was that we had a lovely welcome pack of wine, fruit, meat, alioli and bread.
The first thing any guests staying will note, is the space. All the rooms are very generous in size. Secondly, it is very clean, an absolute must for me! And for the keen cook, like me, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Add to this, the abundance of clean linen, which might not be important to some, but to me, is great.
Location of the villa is superb....only a few minutes walk to a very good supermarket. We were able to jump in the car and be at the beautiful seafront or the most adorable Old Town of Altea within minutes.
The pool is immaculately clean...again an absolute must for me. And it is a great size too. Around you, it is incredibly peaceful and you can really relax.
Thought and consideration has been given in renting out this property. Ellen offers this villa not just as a holiday home but as close to being a "home from home"!
Family holiday 3 couples and a teenager. We had an amazing time, the villa catered for our every want and need, the outdoor space was amazing and inside was just as fantastic. Totally relaxing and just what we all needed. The kids keep asking when we can go back?
Thank you Ellen, it was truly wonderful and you were too. The Ormerod-Gill family, we hope to return to the villa soon.
The house is lovely and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal in the kitchen for a month and it was perfect. We also enjoyed eating on the balcony with the great view. It was also nice how many toys they had for the children. Our two girls enjoyed playing with all of the toys as well as bouncing on the trampoline. They even braved swimming in the pool (which was still cool as it was early in the year). My only suggestion would be a darker shade in the smallest room as it faces the gate which has a light on all night. We also were there during daylight savings time so it stayed light very late at night.
Only positive things to say about this property and its owners. Description is accurate, spotless and well maintained. Close to everything! Perfect location. Our children loved the house. Very comfortable - the owner, Ellen, has thought about most details. We felt very well taken care of and very welcome. Thanks Ellen & team!
The Villa enables everybody to be satisfied being 4 families together for two weeks. Plenty of space inside and outside, the pool being welcomed at warm temperatures, and lot of bicycling possibilities in the area around made the holiday perfect!
This villa is situated in a quiet area on a plot of over 7000m2, but is also close to beach, supermarket, various shops and tennis club. The picturesque village of Altea with its maze of narrow streets and whitewashed houses is located within 2 km. Altea is its characteristic whitish blue church dome is known as the ´Pearl of the Costa Blanca`. During the summer evenings there are many stalls on the church square, and boutiques are opened untill late. You can find many restaurants and cafes in the old village of Altea as well as alongside the boulevard. You can choose from fish, meat, paella (rice), tapas to Frensh cuisine. Villages like Albir, La Nucia, Polop, Alfas del Pi and Calpe are within a radius of 10 km. The beaches range from intimate coves and pebble beaches with crystal clear water excellent for snorkelling, to nearby sandy beaches of Calpe, Benidorm or Villa Joyosa. For children there are aquatic, animal and theme parks, all within about 12 km. More than enough to enjoy!
