Beautiful Apartment!!

My husband and myself returned from our first trip to Malta yesterday....19th Sept, after a great holiday. We stayed for 12 nights in Mark and Elaine's lovely apartment in St Julian's Bay. Firstly, Mark and Elaine are two very nice people who just want you to enjoy your stay in their apartment. This is quite apparent when you see the accommodation. This contemporary apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard and has everything you require for a relaxing holiday. The lounge/kitchen is very well equipped with modern furniture, a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob and washing machine, which was such a bonus. The bedroom is spacious and has a large and very comfortable bed and lots of handy storage. Off the bedroom there are patio doors leading onto a lovely private yard with patio furniture, barbecue and a clothes dryer for your washing. It was lovely to sit in this area with a nice glass of wine and relax after a days sight seeing.

Mark always replied to my emails very quickly and he arranged for taxi transfers to and from the airport for us, which were both efficient and well priced. Elaine met us at the apartment on our arrival and welcomed us, showed us around the apartment and explained how things worked. The property is well situated close to shops, bars, restaurants and busses and within a few minutes walk of the beautiful Spinola Bay. Although close to these amenities, it's far enough away to guarantee a good nights sleep. I would recommend this apartment and if we returned to Malta, would have no problem booking with them again.

Beautiful Apartment & Great Location

The apartment was everything as described online. Very clean and tidy with lovely owners that were very helpful. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities listed, very good wifi as well. It was in such a prime location with bus stops at the end of the street, as well as restaurants within a few minutes walk. Very safe area as well, especially at night, I was travelling with a girlfriend of mine and felt very safe. Would definitely recommend to anybody coming to Malta.

It's a nice appartment !

Everything is nice, like others' mentioned reviews, the appartment is very clean and well furnished. The location is good, the bus X2 from the airport arrives the appartment directly, the stop is just about 200metres. Only one thing since the appartment is for 2persons, we have another 2kids, so only 2 chairs for dinning table, one double bed and another inflatable mattress that is not too bad for sleeping, just makes a lot of noise for every movement. In addition, the bed linings are not very comfertable. The rest is perfect. You can find everything needed for cooking. Anyway, it's a nice experience, thanks a Mark!

Great Experience!

The apartment was very well located, a couple of blocks from the water. Bus or taxi service a few doors away. The supermarket was also just a couple of blocks away. The apartment was clean, quiet and fully equipped. Despite what appears to be a very active night life a few doors away, I heard nothing at night inside the unit, even with the door to the patio open all night.

How it looks, gorgeous

The apartment is very close to everything (bars, supermarkets, bus stop, parties) but you cannot hear any noise, has new furniture and you don't need to bring anything with you! The only two things I missed are:

1 (this is beacuse in my house I have one) the "bidet" in the bathroom that here in Malta - and other countries - is not used to have.

2 there isn't a door between bedroom and living room and it's so strange.

At least it is very comfortable!! Recommended

St Julian's Initially a fishing village, later turned to a summer residence for wealthy locals and now developed into one of the island's mostly fetched resorts for night life and entertainment, especially for the youngsters and the middle aged. Within walking distance to Paceville, this village still retains some of it's old dwellings and boat houses. The small bay still shelters numerous coloured Maltese boats that are berthed here all year long. St Julian's is a village for all ages and walks of life. The young at heart will enjoy nearby Paceville - this locality offers much to tourists looking for the night life entertainment, including clubs, bars, Casino, restaurants and other entertainment. Balluta Bay is a popular recreation spot used for swimming, diving, and water sports, with a triangular piazza surrounded by cafes and shaded by Judas trees. Its skyline is dominated by the Neo Gothic Carmelite Parish Church.
