I had a lovely time at this apartment. It was in an excellent arrondisments just steps away from the beautiful Luxembourg gardens and only a 15 minute walk to the Seine. It was very hot and luckily we found a fan that helped out. It is rather small but has all the amenities you need. Would definitely recomend this space.
We have stayed in the 5th arrondisement regularly for the last 7 or 8 years. This apartment is our new favorite. We like the neighborhood which is a little more residential and less touristy than our previous choice. The building is attractive and has good security. The apartment has a good supply of dishes and cooking utensils. The description says there is a 2 burner cooktop and a microwave. A recent remodel has converted that to a wonderful 4 burner induction cooktop with an oven. The apartment also has a dishwasher and microwave.
It is well located for both the buses and the metro and the RER B direct to Charles de Gaule is two blocks away, as is the Luxembourg Gardens, one of our favorite places to enjoy Paris.
There are many good restaurants as well as specialty stores for wine, cheese, etc.
I can't say enough good things about the apartment.
The location of this apartment is wonderful. It is near a metro stop, right next to the Pantheon, and has many great restaurants and shops near by, as well as a lovely park just a few steps from the front door. It is easy and fast to get just about anywhere in the city from here if you use the metro. The apartment itself was also great. It is stylish and has everything you could possibly want for your stay including guide books.
The reason I give my stay only three stars is because of the hospitality of the owners. I came into Paris by train after a long day of traveling and has not heard back from the owner of the apartment with address, though I knew that I had booked it because I had confirmation for my payment as well as an old email from the owner saying they would get back to me later with the address and instructions on how to enter the apartment. The subject of the email even had the dates I was supposed to be staying there (11th-15th)
I had to call the owner in the end (costing money because I didn't have an international phone plan and couldn't find a pay phone so just used my cell phone) After she hung up on me twice she finally told me that the apartment would not be ready for me until the next day.I had to find a hotel room for that night instead. The next day when I finally was able to go into the apartment there was still very little communication as to the time I could enter, and the owner never came to welcome me to the apartment or show me the ropes.
Ultimately the experience was enjoyable because of the wonderful city and lovely apartment, however I would never stay here again because I would never want to have to deal with the owners again. I hope that they learn a little bit about hospitality before someone else stays there.
Everything went smoothly, from the booking until Rafael's introduction of the studio.
The location was great, just a few steps away from le jardin du Luxembourg, where I spent many joyful moments.
The studio itself was fairly functioning, clean and well-kept. You won't get a luxury studio at that price, but a nice place to stay, where you can cook your own meals, if wanted.
This was my second time staying at the apartment and I would happily stay here in the future. The flat is exactly as pictured on the site - it is clean, well-furnished and has everything that one needs for a great stay in Paris. The location is perfect - very central, with shops, restaurants and a metro stop close by, and is a great base to explore the city. Both Tatiana and Rafael were very helpful and communication was straightforward and prompt.
This apartment was wonderful, we loved everything about it. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. We cooked many of our meals and lacked nothing for the preparation. If anything it was over equipped, if that is even possible! Comfy bed, nice couch for lounging and the place was impeccably clean. Excellent location near Luxembourg metro and many famous sites. Groceries, patisseries, boucheries, and some great restaurants all located nearby. We hope to be back soon!
Beautiful flat located in the nice area of Luxembourg in the centre of Paris. Steps away from the gorgeous Luxembourg gardens and few minutes away from Parisian sights such as the Pantheon, Saint German des Pres, Jardin des Plantes, Notre Dame, etc. Nearest metro station with the RER B, which takes you straight from/to both airports and to Gare du Nord. Surrounded by numerous stores, supermarkets, cafés, bistros, movie theaters and with charming streeets, this is the place to be for an unforgettable experience in the City of Lights.
