Also walking distance from Hyde Park, and High St Kensington.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Flat in a prestigious area with good local shops and convenient bus services to many parts of London. Flat was comfortable and well equipped. Only stayed two nights but would be great to book a longer visit. Many thanks Paul.
We had a lovely four days in the Notting Hill flat! Paul was responsive from the outset. His son, Harvey, met us upon our arrival to orient us to the specifics of the flat and provide some info on the neighborhood. The flat was clean and bright, a perfect launching pad from which our family of five could explore London. It's close to the tube and numerous busses, and it's an easy walk to numerous restaurants and the shops on Portobello Road. We would definitely stay there again.
Our visit over Christmas was our most memorable ever and it was due in large part to the great stay we had in Notting Hill !
The flat was perfect for 2 adults and two teenagers. The location was wonderful to be in and explore and was close enough by easy bus rides to all the sights. The kitchen worked excellent for cooking breakfasts and dinners in and there were plenty of stores nearby (be sure to try the Fish Shop near notting hill gate)
We highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting to be "in London" on holiday !
We had a very nice stay at this flat. The owner was very accommodating of our last minute booking request. The flat had everything our family of four needed for a comfortable week's stay. It was about a 7 minute walk to the Notting Hill Gate tube station, and from there it is easy to get to all the major sites. We would book it again on a future visit.

Notting Hill is an affluent and fashionable area in London, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Notting Hill is known for attractive terraces of large Victorian town houses, and high-end shopping and restaurants (particularly around Westbourne Grove).
A lovely apartment based in Notting Hill Gate, only 3 minutes walk to Notting Hill tube, Kensington Palace and Gardens.
Close by is an excellent variety of pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants on Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road, where the famous market takes place every weekend.
A walk across the park will take you to the Victoria & Albert and British Science Museums and the Royal Albert Hall.
A number of supermarkets are also close by, and Oxford Street and Westfield Shopping centre are a 5 minute bus ride away.
High Street Kensington and Holland Park are also walking distance.
Excellent transport links are walking distance away, including Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, and several bus routes.
Paddington rail station is a 5 minute drive away.
Ashdown Lodge is situated in peaceful Chepstow Villas in Notting Hill. Efficient local transport systems operate to all parts of London, and the West-End is just 10 minutes away by bus, taxi or underground train.
