This secure, spacious and luxurious three storey, 2 bedroom end of terrace townhouse, is situated in central London, N1, in a development next to Regents Canal Our townhouse is located in a private courtyard area of the development, set back from the street and comes with its own parking space. Free WIFI is included. Our house offers 1189 sq ft of space - making it ideal for couples sharing or families, plus for guests that need to work - the lounge area contains a desk and chair next to the fast/reliable WIFI connection.

• Kings Cross St Pancras Station is only a short 5 minute walk away and has more underground connections than any other London station. The West End (Oxford Circus and Covent Garden) is only 3 tube stops away. Islington is a short ten minute walk and has a large Sainsbury's along with Waitrose and Marks and Spencer plus numerous restaurants, pubs and shops. A well stocked Tesco Metro Supermarket is only a couple of minutes' walk from the house.

• The ground floor has two double sized bedrooms sleeping 4 guests - 1 king size bed and 1 double size bed - plus a contemporary family bathroom with shower cube bath and his and hers wash basin unit.

• The first floor has a kitchen with all mod cons such as oven, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer and a dining area with table and chairs for up to 6 guests, plus a separate WC.

• The spacious lounge is on the second floor mezzanine level overlooking the dining area. With a large 5 seater corner sofa and a 3 seater sofa, it comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The lounge area contains a hotel standard small double Jay-Be luxurious memory foam folding bed which can sleep 2 guests. Blinds overlooking the mezzanine level can be pulled across at night to provide privacy. The dining and lounge areas have a bright and airy feel as they benefit from huge floor to ceiling double height windows and wooden laminate floors.

• The lounge has a Loewe Widescreen TV, Freeview, Sony DVD, IPOD Docking Station and a selection of DVD's and books, plus the free WIFI connection so that guests can relax after sightseeing. For younger children, we have a small selection of toys, DVD's and books as well as plastic plates, bowls, beakers and cutlery stored in the kitchen. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

• Access to our property is via an entry key stored in a Key Safe outside our house which offers more flexibility where arrivals are in the evening or where travel has been delayed. Guests are provided with a code to open the Key Safe once the rent and refundable security deposit is fully paid. Check-in is anytime after 15.00pm on arrival day. Check out is by 10.00am on departure day. We may be able to be more flexible on check-in and check-out times, depending on whether we have departures or arrivals either side of a guests bookings.

• Guests can pay by bank transfer or credit card (operated by with any bank charges and additional fees payable via credit card being the responsibility of the guest. Bookings are secured by payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit with the 75% balance plus refundable security deposit of £200.00 payable 40 days before arrival. For arrivals in less than 40 days, 100% rental plus refundable security deposit of £200.00 is payable immediately.

About Alexander, Pass the Keys

Andrew (the owner) purchased Bridge Wharf originally as a base for his office in London. After relocating to Devon after his son was born in 2008, it was rented out to tenants. In 2011, as Andrew missed having a base in London, he decided to rent it as a holiday let and it was run by Andrew's wife, Rebecca. For practical reasons, Andrew and Rebecca wanted someone based in London to take over the running of Bridge Wharf and I was appointed in September 2015.

Why Alexander, Pass the Keys chose Kings Cross

The property is very spacious, offers off street parking and is nearby to Regents canal, which offers walks along the canal to nearby Camden. Islington is only a short ten minute walk away with a fantastic selection of shops, bars, restaurants and a couple of cinemas. In addition, the Kings Cross area has undergone massive redevelopment in the last few years and the local area has many exciting restaurants, shops and bars.

Bridge Wharf offers 1189 sq feet of space in a 2 bedroom townhouse in north London with its own parking space. The townhouse is based in a development overlooking Regents Canal and as it is set back from the main road, the house is quite quiet - a big advantage in central London. Kings Cross St Pancras Station is only minutes away - so guests can easily reach all the main sightseeing areas by underground/train. Oxford Street or Covent Garden is only 20 minutes away door to door so guests can enjoy all of the attractions of the West End!

  • A brand new luxury contemporary bathroom was fitted in 2013. This comprises of a shower cube bath (a bath with an additional width at one end that offers both a super deep bathing area but also boasting an innovative ergonomic L shape screen and side screen which converts the bath into a full enclosure to get a proper shower experience) and a fantastic sleek statement double (his and hers) basin unit with overhead lighting and mirror, matching WC. The upstairs bathroom has a toilet and wash hand basin.

The lounge area contains a hotel standard small double Jay-Be luxurious memory foam folding bed which can accommodate 2 further guests. This property was refurbished at the beginning of 2012 with a new sofa, washer/dryer, dishwasher, dining table and chairs for 6 and all new linens/towels and crockery and kitchen utensils. At the beginning of 2013, a brand new contemporary family bathroom was added, the kitchen floor replaced, the back bedroom was redecorated. The kitchen opens onto a small narrow, terraced area, where smoking is allowed. A cot-bed and high chair are available upon request. An off-street parking space, just outside of the congestion zone is included in the rates quoted.

Just Perfect

Rebecca is a star! From pre-booking questions to aftercare (returning our deposit and even cash that we had left behind) Rebecca dealt with everything swiftly and often went the extra mile ensuring that our stay was extremely comfortable and stress free.

The house itself is exactly as seen in the photos, very spacious, modern and stylish with all home comforts provided as well as luxury linens/towels and appliances. On arrival the house had been spotlessly cleaned and was warm and inviting.

The location is perfect with every amenity close by. Despite its central location the house is in a private courtyard and therefore extremely quiet and peaceful, with free off-street parking, a definite bonus in a central London location.

In all our stay was just perfect, so much so that we are looking to re-book soon. Many Thanks Rebecca for such a wonderful service.

Perfect accommodations for 5 people

We stayed here for 10 nights in July 2017 with our three children.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. Very clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The shower was nice with no shortage of hot water and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The owner was attentive to our queries during our stay.

Convenient to bus (1 minute) with 1 minute ride to King's Cross or just ten minute walk to either King's Cross or Angel underground stations. Sometimes we walked and other we took the buses. King's Cross in a major underground hub so it is quick and easy to get everywhere once you figure out the layout of the station.

A good size Tesco (grocery store) is just a 3-4 minute walk.

Lots of interesting restaurants, especially if you walk due East toward Islington along Wynford Road to Chapel Market which is under 500m away.

You can also do a nice 30 minute walk along Regents Canal towards Camden Market if you don't mind the few dodgy sections.

Highly recommended.

Comfortable convenient and quiet

Its really good to be able to park in front of the house.The beds are very comfortable with fresh cotton sheets .The cot and highchair are provided and essential for the baby .Although the arrangement of bedrooms is not entirely the best for our party .We brought a little camp bed for the 4 year old so he could be in his parents room.The selection of toys is much appreciated.

The house is very quiet although so close to main road and Kingscross.The convenience for all transport and closeness to central London is the best feature.

Nice, quiet flat close to central transportation and dining options

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at this flat in November. We were two adults and four kids and we made it work without any trouble. The flat is convenient to the Tube (about a 10 minute walk) and even more convenient to bus stops, which we preferred for the double-decker experience. We also walked along the canal one day to get to Camden Market and really enjoyed the walk. We did have one issue with the refrigerator while we were there but it was resolved quickly without hassle. The only negatives I would say were the downstairs bedrooms could use an update and the floor is a bit creaky in the dining room, which is right over one of the bedrooms, so it woke our kids up one of the days. However, this is minor. We would recommend the apartment without reservation.

Great apartment in great location

This apartment was great for our visit to London. Very clean, well-furnished, and we loved the location. 5 to 10 minute walks to Kings Cross station and grocery store. Many small pubs and restaurants even closer. We also enjoyed walking along the canal for a different view of London. As described, the kitchen, dining room, and den/TV room are upstairs so be able to climb stairs.

Good location and comfortable

Enjoyed our visit to London and staying at the townhouse. The townhouse was comfortable and clean, it could use an update. We thought we would be able to see the canal not only the parking lot. For air circulation the glass doors need to be open.

Our townhouse is very centrally located being just a short 5 minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras International Station, which has more underground connections than any other London station. There are four main services from the station - Eurostar, East Midlands trains, Southeastern and First Capital Connect.

Kings Cross St Pancras Station also has many shops, restaurants, deli's and small supermarkets inside its station.

All of the airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and Luton can be easily reached by train or underground from Kings Cross St Pancras in around 1 hour.

From Kings Cross St Pancras Station, the bustling West End can be reached in only 3 tube stops! Take the underground to either Oxford Circus or Covent Garden tube stations and you will find numerous attractions such as shops, restaurants, West End theatres and pubs.
