This modern apartment sleeps 4-6 adults as it has double room, twin room and large sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern granite worktops, ceramic hob, large fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. The sun trap terrace is south facing and gives opportunities to relax and enjoy the breathtaking valley views. The inside living space includes lounge and dining area. Entertainment on offer is flat screen TV, DVD player, surround sound which can plug in ipod/ipads and a wireless Internet connection.
The apartment has two large light bedrooms, one twin room and a master bedroom with a double bed that has a view of the beautiful Staubbach waterfall. A cot and highchair are available when requested. The bathroom has bathtub/shower, twin basins and a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. Downstairs is a heated ski and boot storage area and designated undercover parking space. The apartment is within 20 meters of the Post bus stop, which will take you in minutes to the village center, accessing all the cable cars and train station that will help you explore the whole Jungfrau region.
In the summer there are plenty of activities on offer hiking, mountain biking or many more extreme sports for the fearless. On hot days you can take advantage of the many outdoor swimming pools in the area or the indoor pools and spas that are available.
In winter Lauterbrunnen has vast opportunities for skiers and those that just want to enjoy the picturesque snow capped mountains. Access to the cable cars taking you up to the slopes is a short 3 minute bus ride away. Murren and Wengen two of the most popular ski areas have multiple chair lifts, cable cars and mountain trains. In January a not to be missed experience is the Lauberhorn run, the world’s longest downhill race. When the snow is good you can ski or sledge all the way down to Lauterbrunnen itself. Heli-skiing can be arranged from the local heliport. Cross country trails are close by to the apartment. For non skiers there are hiking trails, long sledging runs and also opportunities to snow shoe. Ice skating is available close by and at certain times ice carting. And when all the activity gets too much there are plenty of wellness spas in the region!

The apartment is very comfortable, modern and clean and in a great location, only 10 mins walk from Lauterbrunnen town centre. An ideal base for exploring the Lauterbrunnen valley, I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
This property was more spacious than I was expecting, quiet, very modern, & had everything we needed. Lovely view of the waterfall from the main bedroom, and you could see the tops of snowy mountains from the living area. Prime location for stupendous views - either from hiking or using trains/gondolas etc, or in combination.
My husband and I had a wonderful week with our 10 month old in Lauterbrunnen despite less than ideal weather.
We did lots of hiking with our little one in a hiking carrier, he loved it. The views from the walks are breathtaking, and there are so many different options from Lauterbrunnen, it couldn't be better located, we barely scratched the surface and went out walking every day.
It's a lovely 10 minute walk to town and the train station, along the river and 5 minutes from the waterfall which our son adored.
The appartment is very modern, had everything we needed and more, lovely touches here and there which really make a difference to our stay, which was such a joy.
Emma is very responsive and totally lovely, we would book again in a heartbeat. I for one hope to come back when we may be slightly more lucky with the weather!
We have been to Lauterbrunnen many times for summer hiking but this was our first winter visit in this beautiful valley. Even if you are not skiers there is plenty to do including winter hiking, sledging, snow shoe walking or visiting local attractions such as Piz Gloria and Jungfraujoch.
The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped with all we needed to make our stay comfortable. There is a washing machine and tumble drier, which is handy for people who travel light and everything you need in the kitchen including a coffee maker. After a day in the snow we came back to a warm, cosy apartment.
We flew to Basel and did our holiday by public transport. Public transport links are excellent and it is easy to get up into the mountains by train and cable car from the village.
If you prefer not to cook there are many mountain restaurants and we would definitely recommend Hotel Oberland in Lauterbrunnen for a meal; particularly the meat fondue.
Emma was extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed before our stay.
We have had a wonderful stay and are already talking about our next winter visit.

The Lauterbrunnen Valley is surrounded by the unspoilt natural beauty of the magnificent Swiss Alps including the famous Eiger and Jungfrau. Lauterbrunnen's most known waterfall is the Staubbach fall, which can be viewed from the terrace, lounge and bedroom and is gorgeous when illuminated at night in mid and high season. From Lauterbrunnen the exploring opportunities are endless with mountain railways, cable cars and buses taking you everywhere from the impressive Trummelbach falls, to Wengen, Murren, Interlaken or the top of Europe at the Jungfraujoch!
The Village main street is a 15min walk along the river or a 3 min bus ride directly from outside the apartment. Lauterbrunnen has lots on offer for a small village including the tourist office, restaurants, post office, shops and banks.
