Tyrina is a grade II Fishermans cottage in an enviable location in the heart of East Looe , a quiet street, minutes away from the beach, harbour, pier, restaurants and shops. Like many traditional Looe cottages, the staircases are a bit narrow but the cottage is full of character it has a beautiful inglenook fireplace, cosy seats to curl up with a good book, fully equipped kitchen, every effort has been made to make this self-catering cottage a comfortable and clean home away from home.

The house is rumoured to be 16th century, it has some lovely character features, exposed oak beams, listed sash windows, a face carved into the beam in the stairwell, inglenook fireplace which was supposedly used for smoking pilchards, we are currently researching more history of the property and hope to leave some information in the cottage.
The ground floor has a window seat which looks out onto the quiet narrow street, lit at night by an old fashioned street lamp.
The lounge has a reclining leather sofa, chaise lounge which can be moved to provide extra seating, 2 window seats, smart tv, high speed Wifi, books and dvd's, local guides and information, a extendable dining table right by the window with seating for 4.
The lounge leads through to a good sized kitchen it has a electric hob & oven, microwave, under cupboard fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, a tumble dryer. All tableware and children's plastic tableware has just been refreshed.
The first flight of stairs leads to the double bedroom, with old sash windows, there is a bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and a corner wardrobe.
The bathroom is situated on this floor, it is spacious and has a bath and electric shower over the bath.
The top bedroom has two single beds, there is a bedside cabinet a chest of drawers, a bit in wardrobe, TV and DVD player, the room has exposed beams and a old sash window with locked window retainers - keys supplied.
The whole cottage is centrally heated, so you will be nice and warm on cooler evenings, and is a very cosy small traditional fisherman's cottage.
The cottage has a iron, ironing board, a travel cot for little ones (bedding not supplied approx size 60cm x120cm), we ensure there is sufficient cleaning supplies for your stay.
We do supply a welcome basket to get you started, includes tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, toilet roll and hand soap.
