First floor apartment with private entrance in a villa containing 6 apartments with shared pool and gardens. The entrance hall leads to a large open plan living/dining area and kitchen. The living area has panoramic views of the sea with three sets of double doors to a large balcony. To the right of the entrance hall there is a cloak/utility room. The apartment benefits from air conditioning throughout. There are two double bedrooms with sea views and built-in wardrobes. The main bedroom has double door opening into the balcony. The second bedroom has en suite facilities with shower. In addition there is a large family bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, espresso machine, dish-washer as well as all required utensils. There is a TV and DVD player in living area.

Apartment is toddler friendly, with cot, high-chair and a selection of toys. It has open flame wood burning stove for winter months. There is a covered garage space.

We can arrange daily housekeeping or on demand. We can buy some groceries to await you on arrival. We have a gardener/pool maintenance staff coming in on daily basis. Smoking is not permitted. The access to the apartment is rather steep as well as walkway to the beach which may be an issue for some. We have a baby and did not have problems with walking to and from apartment.

Excellent Apartment

What a wonderful apartment.

Plenty of room in the open plan kitchen/living area. A huge balcony the length of the property (the picture doesn't do it justice) overlooking the sea and mainland. Great views day and night and great sunsets.

The bedrooms are plenty big enough with good storage space for clothes and cases. The main bathroom was excellent but the on suite bathroom did lack water pressure for the shower.

The apartment had all the mod cons you could ask for - cooker, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine etc etc.

The swimming pool and surroundings were always very clean and most of the time we had exclusive use. The pool is only one depth (about 7 foot) so isn't suitable for none swimmers - so go to the beach where the water is just as clear.

The property is accessed via a 1 in 1 road which looks a bit worrying at first but proved no problem. The five minute walk down this road to the beach proved to be good exercise, especially walking back up again.

A 15 to 20 minute walk along the path by the sea takes you to the main centre of Okrug Gornji where there are plenty of restaurants with food at reasonable prices. Also you can catch the ferry boats here to Torgir which run every 15 minutes to about midnight and only cost about £2 each.

Finally, we must mention the wonderful housekeeper, Goga. She was extremely helpful and friendly. She didn't bother us once we had settled in but she was always available if needed.

We would definitely recommend this apartment for a holiday.

Lovely modern apartment with fabulous views over the bay

We have just returned from two weeks at this apartment & can't recommend it enough. It is situated about 15 minutes walk along the beach from the main beach, restaurants & bars in Okrug Gornji but we quite often stayed at the beach at the bottom of the road from the apartment which was quieter & just as nice. It is a steep hill down to the beach but well worth it for the view we had from our balcony.

The apartment itself is beautiful & well equipped. The air conditioning was extremely effective making the apartment lovely & cool especially at night. The location is great to explore Trogir & Split & we visited both places by water taxi. We had hired a car but we realised that there was no need as the ferries & bus services are extremely good. Would definitely recommend this property

Very happy

I am really surprised there are no other reviews and I hope this one helps other people.

Aida, I would really like to thank you for the renting of your villa/apartment. It is top quality and very comfortable. We could not have asked for any more with the accommodation. The views are stunning but as a consequence If we had one criticism it would be the slope that can be a challenge. But to be honest we are in our 50's and 60's and coped quite well twice a day! Please pass my thanks to Goga, and also to Toni (taxi owner) who we used very often.

We really enjoyed our holiday in a part of Croatia we have not visited before and can only describe Okrug, Ciovo and Trogir as truly beautiful. The people are very honest and friendly and make you feel very welcome wherever you go.

I would certainly recommend this area and this villa!

The villa is located near the green belt in an exclusive and quiet location in Okrug Gornji on island of Ciovo, next to historic town of Trogir. It has direct access to the beach, which is 50m walking distance, and it is 10 min walk to boat taxis with frequent service to Trogir. Nearest shops and coffee bars and restaurants are also 10 min walk. Nearest tennis courts are 5 min walk from the apartment.

The Villa is 20 min drive from Split International airport (Easy Jet and Wizzair fly frequently). It is about 30kms away from city of Split. It is also accesible from Zadar, which is some 120 km away on motorway. A number of famous locations are within easy reach of the island including Krka waterfalls and islands of Solta, Brac and Hvar. A number of organised excursions are also available and can be booked locally through nearby agents.

The island is great location for wind-surfing, diving and fishing and also has plenty areas for biking and jogging.
