Why Al or Kimberly chose Reems Creek
We built this home to sell as a spec house back when the market was hot. As we were building it we fell in love and decided to keep it. To offset our costs we rent it to folks looking to enjoy themselves in the mountains.

Beautiful home, decent price. Difficult small driveway.
Beautiful home, good location. Out of traffic but close to mountains or downtown Asheville. Nice rec room, kitchen and appliances nice, big kitchen table. Plenty of bathrooms. We had small children. There was only one Bedroom on each floor, including basement so we had to be creative for safety reasons. 2 issues to fix in my opinion.....mold was on basement shower curtains (otherwise clean) and the pots and pans were old peeling nonstick stuff. We had a daughter in the area that provided decent cookware. We would stay again if daughter there to provide cookware.
Thank you for your review! We are glad you had a great time and enjoyed the home! I will go out and give the cookware some attention, glad to know that it is starting to show some wear. We look forward to hosting your stay again!
This is a great house for adults – it is a little loud with kids and the steps and separation of bedrooms is tricky if you have younger kids. Otherwise fabulous!
Thank you for the nice review! We are glad you and your family enjoyed the home and we look forward to hosting your stay again in the future.
Comfortable and Convenient!
Very roomy and comfortable with a bedroom and bath on each level and a pool table. Close to the town of Weaverville for supplies and restaurants, yet very private and quiet. We especially enjoyed the swing and rocking chairs on the front porch. Everything was as advertised and we had a delightful and memorable stay and would definitely recommend it.
We were glad to host your stay and hope that you visit again soon! Thank you for the lovely review and feel free to contact us next time you are heading to town for any of our rentals!
Mainly Positives in Weaverville
The house is secluded yet 20 minutes from Asheville. It is 5 minutes to a grocery store. Six adults stayed there quite comfortably. Part of our group enjoyed the pool table and game table in the basement. It is a quiet house. The house is decorated nicely and the kitchen is well stocked. Comparing it to the many houses we have rented over the last 10 years, I would say the only places it could improve to make it a 10 are the cleaning/amenities - the floors needed further sweeping upon our arrival and the walls/window frames had cobwebs. The house could use more hangers, handsoap.. the basics. We would certainly recommend others to stay as both of those issues are easy enough to turn around.
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed our home on your vacation and hope to have you back next time. We value your input and will make some adjustments based on this information. Please feel free to reach out to us next time you come back to the Asheville area!
Everything was great, location to Ashville was good too.
ideal for large or multi-families
My family stayed at this home as a way to get everyone together over labor day weekend. We spent one day in Asheville and another hiking at Mount Mitchell State Park.
It was pretty nice, but not the most comfortable accommodation we have ever stayed in.
1. the deck is lovely and has a nice view
2. it is a close distance from both the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville.
3. The kitchen has been updated and is nice and open to accommodate lots of people at meal time.
4. It is pet friendly but does not smell like pets have ever been there
1. this is a LOUD house- there are minimal rugs/curtains to absorb the sound. Basically, when one person wakes up in the morning it wakes everyone up because all of the noise echoes. Also, everyone can hear you when you use the upstairs restroom. This would not be an ideal place to have a baby or young child....
2. The futon in the loft is broken, so if you sleep on that you are basically sleeping on a couch.
3. The linens were dated/stained. The owner should really consider replacing the linens in this house. Some of the towels were frayed and a lot of the sheets had strange stains on them. I know they were clean, but it was still kind of gross to lay my head on a white pillow case that had yellowish stains from someone else's sweat or drool....
4. The parking is tight. Carpool if you can.
It worked nicely for us for the weekend, but I do not know if we would stay there again.
Thank you for leaving a review, and we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay here in the mountains! I will have the Futon attended to immediately and we have already replaced the linens in question. We appreciate your feedback and strive to provide a wonderful vacation home for travelers year round. Please be sure to let me know if you do decide to come back to the area as we would love the chance to host your stay again!
