A beautiful, spacious home in picturesque Chester!

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved our visit to Chester, NS & we were said to leave this quaint seaside village & charming home. The home exceeded our expectations with a fully equipped kitchen, cleanliness, spacious rooms & gorgeous yard. And the owners were extremely gracious & eager to answer our questions. I can't wait to return!

Nova Scotia Adventure

  • 5 of 5

This house was our home away from home in Chester, it was truly the perfect home for a week's vacation in Nova Scotia with the family. The house is beautifully decorated, maintained and appointed. Everything in and out of the house is top notch. Chester's central location allowed us to visit and explore some of the great sites of Nova Scotia; it is an amazing seaside town with shops, lovely restaurants, sailing, golfing and dock side fishing if you are so inclined.

This home was breathtaking from the moment we drove up, and stepped on to the welcoming porch, where we enjoyed early morning coffee, afternoon chats and evening reflections. The grounds are very well maintained and large enough that we had the pleasure of playing a few lawn games, and late night bonfires around the fire pit.

Inside - what more could you ask for - you are greeted with comfort and beauty throughout, and have everything you could possibly need. I admired the artwork and was pleasantly surprised to find prints by the artist being sold in one of the shops in town. I now have a authentic memento of our trip and stay in THE "home away from home" in Chester.

Thank you for making this vacation a wonderful and memorably experience for our family from the first moment that I requested its availability. When ever I had any questions, they were quickly answered and addressed, making the booking process and stay worry free. I would love to revisit some day.

Chester Dream

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully designed for an extended family of 10 and a sundry of day guests! Well maintained spotless, clearly loved home! The home boasts every imaginable dish or kitchen tool for those who love to entertain. We spent 2 weeks enjoying the property inside and out! The fire pit was a hit with the grandkids along with a sundry of outdoor games. All rooms were well appointed with beautiful art and comfortable furniture! Everyone found their special spot to read or just enjoy the view. All family members enjoyed its proximity to Chester Village, golf course, Lido Pool and the many beaches in the region. Short excursions took us to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Halifax. The owners were fabulous, responding to all queries in minutes! We would highly recommend the property.

Clean, spacious and relaxing with all the mod cons

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 10 spent a week in this house and everyone loved it. The new kitchen is so big and well-planned that everyone can be in there helping with meals and it doesn't feel crowded. We especially loved all the different "zones" (bedrooms) where people could retreat in privacy, as well as the indoor gas fireplaces and the outdoor fire pit. A ten-minute walk and you're in town for fishing, kayaking or just looking about. The owners are very easy to work with and went out of their way to help us.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

The house is very nice and well appointed! The kitchen has everything for making large family meals! We enjoyed the yard and outside deck! There were 9 of us, 3 generations and everyone was very comfortable and loved the accomodations! Chester was a lovely little village on the water. We did many day trips from here: Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, Pictou, Bay of Fundy, Halifax, Peggy's Cove but did manage to go to the local farmers markets Friday and Saturday morning. Local golf, fishing, biking and restaurants were all so great! Highly recommend. Bob was wonderful and very accommodating! We are already talking about going back.
