Surrounded by the most stunning views and countryside, what better place to stay and explore the National Park. You can leave your car and set off on foot in any direction, on some of the most popular footpaths in the Peak District.
There is a reception area, licensed residents lounge and dining room. All are tastefully furnished, in keeping with the character and atmosphere of this warm and friendly home. The lounge and bedrooms all have extensive views of the surrounding countryside.
Use the garden to relax and unwind after your long day walking the dales or sightseeing. Enjoy a pot of tea whilst watching people climb Thorpe Cloud, or relax with the newspapers or a good book.
We have a large variety of birds that come to our garden and feed right outside the lounge windows, from where you can sit and watch them feeding - they include blue tits, finches, nut hatches, coal tits and robins. Pheasants pick at the seeds and we've also had, on occasions, lesser spotted woodpeckers.

Sheep are often resident on our 3 acre pasture and in spring you can enjoy watching the lambs. One of the most popular walking and nature destinations - Dovedale - is literally on our doorstep. After your walk you can enjoy a pot of tea and a cake, or a glass of wine, in our gardens with fantastic views of Thorpe Cloud.
