About Liz and Bill Brister
We (Liz and Bill) have lived in Jackson in the Fondren neighborhood for 25 years. We own three homes in Fondren, including this one, so you will be hard pressed to find more enthusiastic and knowledgeable hosts. Bill is a professor at Millsaps College and director of the graduate business programs. Liz is an executive at Entergy, an investor-owned utility company. We love food, wine, art, literature, music, travel and our 4 kids, 2 grandkids, 2 Dalmatians and 1 Calico cat!
Liz and Bill Brister purchased this House in 2016
Why Liz and Bill Brister chose Fondren
It was designed by Ken Tate, the same architect of the Barrington Condominium, which is among the most exclusive real estate in Mississippi. The home was built around the same time as The Barrington and in the same style, but it is a separate home. It is walled with a beautiful courtyard and gardens...and so very private! We fell in love with the house and hope to make it our permanent home in a few years after retirement. But, for now, it is yours to enjoy!
What makes this House unique
This home is designed and furnished to meet the needs of your special and memorable events in life - a wedding party, a reunion, a job interview in Jackson, temporary housing from a relocation, or just a weekend 'staycation' for locals. The shopping, dining and cultural experiences are within minutes from your private, courtyard entrance! In this home, you will find special local gifts and surprises to help make your stay special.

This property was absolutely wonderful! We have stayed in numerous 5 star and boutique style properties but this one really was special for us. The owners was the best we've ever rented from. We look forward to staying again.
Thank you for the nice review! Come see us again soon.
Wonderful, Beautiful Place to stay with the very Best Host.
We stayed here for a week while our son was having surgery at MMC with our Grandchildren in July 2018. This home could not be more convenient for our our needs. It is a warm comfy clean safe place. Liz and Bill could not have been more pleasant host. They made us feel right at home. The beds are comfortable the linens are superb. All the comforts of home. If and when the need arises we will stay here again.
