Lovely Stay
We had an excellent time in this ideal house in the outskirts of Packwood. The location is very quiet with the only sounds emanating from the local inhabitants - elk, crickets and squirrels. With Mt Rainier and St Helens a short drive away, and all supplies available in Packwood, you really can't go wrong with the Alpine Chalet!

Relaxing Alpine Chalet for our family.
The Alpine Chalet was great and very clean. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Easy communication with the owner, he got back to us right away. It's is a great location, easy walk to the beach and into town. It was great seeing the Elk every morning walk through the yard. It was such a great cozy spot for our family to get together and visit for a few days. We will definitely be back.

Why they chose this property

There are so many old and musty cabins in the area. Come stay in the most well equipped and meticulously clean and maintained cabin in Packwood and never be disappointed!

What makes this property unique

This is a great jumping off point for a walk in the woods or a walk to town and restaurants (less than 1/2 mile). In summer visit Mt Rainier National Park (only 7 miles to the Stevens Canyon entrance) or White Pass Ski Resort (only 15 miles to the lodge).
