Excellent Location, Small but comfortable, Mold was pretty gross.

Great Location. Overall a really cozy little apartment. Our only complaint was that the shower curtain was moldy, as well as the bathroom cracks and I'm allergic... so I got some sneezes.

Best Value In Paris! Thank You Patricia & Vincent!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in Patricia & Vincent's flat for 8 nights at the end of February. It was very easy & pleasant to book the apartment & communicate with them; no hidden fees or charges. As I had an early exit on the last morning, I paid a modest 25 Euros extra for cleaning. The apartment is most accurately described & depicted in the listing. It's in a great neighborhood, a fantastic & safe location that is easily accessible to other parts of the city via walking or Metro. The small kitchen with its two burner hob allows meal preparation, and the lower of the bunk beds was very comfortable to sleep on. Now let me be candid: I'm a big guy. But I was able to get in/out of the small bathroom to shower, etc., without major difficulty. And as for the stairs, they comprise 97 steps, five flights of 16, one of 17. It is indeed a tight spiral climb, which took me 3 to 6 minutes to ascend, depending on how much I was carrying up, and how much wine I had imbibed. But if I can deal with them -- again I'm a BIG guy, aged 54 -- those of you younger and more agile should have no difficulty whatsoever. Having the washing machine was very helpful; I dried items on the heater rack. WIFI worked very well. French language TV. All in all, a very nice small & clean apartment in a GREAT location at a FANTASTIC price, with wonderful owners to deal/communicate with. I noticed that Vincent & Patricia have some other listings in different Parisian neighborhoods, so should this unit be unavailable I would strongly suggest considering one of their others. At least, that's my plan for my next trip to Paris...

This property was exactly what we needed!

  • 5 of 5

Description is on spot. Location was perfect! Two Metro stations are a very short walk from this unit. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The stairs were pretty tough, but we were warned about them in the description. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. Thank You!

Small but cosy

  • 4 of 5

The studio is very small, but perfectly adequate for two people spending a few days in Paris, as you can sleep, shower and have breakfast/ heat some food. The studio has a microwave, electric plate, laundry washing machine and dishwasher, but we only used the microwave, and it works perfectly.

It also has a Samsung flat screen TV and a DVD player, that we never used. Wi-Fi works great and at a nice speed.

The bathroom is terribly small, and wouldn't recommend the shower for someone really tall, but we managed perfectly. The minus was that we only had two FACE towels per person, for washing and shower, NO BATH TOWELS. If I had known this before, I would have taken my own bath towels.

Now, the worst part: the stairs. It's a 6th floor, with really hard to climb service stairs, without elevator acess (the owner had let us know that in advance). I would never recommend this appartment, to someone with mobility difficulties or babies.

The location of the studio is great, just two minutes from the Metro and Champs- Elysées and, considering price/quality/location, would definitely stay here again, but next time would take a backpack, instead of a suitcase, so climbing and going down with luggage would be easier, and would take my own bath towels.

Convenient, Safe and Affordable

  • 5 of 5

The location was convenient to the metro and felt safe even when coming back late at night. The property description says you can walk to the Eiffel tower. After getting to know the city better, we realized that it would make for a very long walk. So while it is possible, you will probably want to take the metro instead. The Arc de Triomphe is a short walk and has wonderful views of the city. We used the metro and walked everywhere during our 10 day stay. So at the end of the day, the stairs are a bit challenging if you aren't used to climbing stairs everyday. Also, plan on packing light and bringing small suitcases rather then one large one. The stairs are quite narrow and steep so you will be glad you did. There is a washer which was nice because we could wash, hang to dry and rewear things. The apartment was clean. The bathroom is very, very small so I wouldn't recommend it if you get claustrophobic or if you are a large person. We visited in April and were comfortable but without air conditioning, it might be too warm later in the year. The apartment had everything we needed and was very close to a bakery. The bakery became the first place we stopped every morning. Every time trying new pastries until we picked our favorites. This was our first trip to Europe and we had the best time! This apartment helped make my dream trip enjoyable and something I could finally afford!

Good location

We stayed for a week in Vincent's flat. The location is great and easy access to metro. Vincent gave us detail instruction on how to reach the flat. We have a good time in Paris.
