We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this two room apartment. The rooms are very big and bright. The "Marais" is a lovely, welcoming area. Metro and bus are just 2 blocks away.Restarants, grocers, shops all nearby. Well stocked, including spices and oil and such. One caution, toilette room off the kitchen is very narrow. Stephane and cousin , R.J. Easy to work with.
Would have given 3 stars, but they didn't refund us our full amount. Beware they will request you pay in cash upon arrival and will request more than previously agreed upon. After we noticed the mistake we asked for a refund and got partial.
Never met the person we booked with- was greeted by a random guy. Will definitely stay at other places we were looking at next time. Place is simple, like photos.
My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is stylishly decorated and well-appointed and feels very spacious. The Marais is a lovely and fascinating neighborhood. It can be noisy at night for light sleepers but, like others who have stayed here, we found that by putting the fan on at night we could sleep extremely comfortably. In fact, it was hard to get up and out early for sightseeing because the bed and the room were so comfortable! The owners were kind and accommodating, which we appreciated very much. We'd love to stay here again and recommend it without reservation.
Wonderful little apartment...two rooms: generous kitchen and bedroom w/ excellent shower.
Everything was provided: coffee, new towels, heated towel rack, big refrigerator, cooktop and oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, elevator. Very safe and secure area. Concierge on premises.
The flat is well located in the Marais, directly across from the Musee Carnavalet.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The apartment was newly renovated, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we loved the roomy attractively designed shower. The well equipped kitchen, portable AC unit and elevator were all benefits. Even in August, we didn't really need the AC much except in the middle of the day. There was also lots of closet and drawer space.
The location was terrific. It is a stone's throw from places like Place des Vosges and Musee Carnavalet, within close walking distance to a No.1 metro line station, and a few minutes more to walk to the Seine, Notre Dame and Hotel De Ville.
The only drawbacks were that the toilet is in a small non-ventilated room off the kitchen, and that the street can be noisy with the windows open (AC unit is also noisy and requires an open window anyways). We usually closed the windows and turned the AC to the more silent fan operation when we went to sleep, and it was very comfortable.
The apartment was in a good location for cafes and bars. An easy walk to Place des Voges and the Metro, plus the Hotel de Ville. It was very comfortable and stocked with coffee, tea, salt, and pepper, etc. Being in the center of activity, it was a little noisy, but ok until 7am.
Apartment located in front of Carvanalet Museum and the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris. You will be at the centre of Marais, a few steps away from 'La Place des Vosgues'. Ideal for shopping trips, Rue des Francs Bourgeois has the trendiest boutiques in Paris (open on Sundays).
