Lovely apartment!

  • 5 of 5

Myself, husband and three children stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 weeks. We had a fantastic holiday. The three bedrooms are of a good size with plenty of room for hanging clothes. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with a shower and a washing machine. This was really helpful. Tayana provided us with plenty of bathroom and beach towels and linen too but it's good to be able to freshen them throughout the holiday. Upstairs, the kitchen/ lounge area is compact but suited us. We took DVD's with us so the children could relax at the end of the day. The adjacent bathroom has a shower cubicle. The balcony has stunning views over the Atriatic towards Split. The kitchen is well equipped too. Overall, we found the apartment fully served our holiday requirements and was good value for money. It was also lovely and clean. It is well positioned to walk to the beach and local restaurants. We hired a car for 3 days to explore the beautiful island. We didn't meet Tayana but she had organised someone to let us in the apartment and her communications with us prior to the holiday was very efficient. Have a lovely holiday in Supetar!!

Pleasant summerholiday in Supetar

  • 4 of 5

Our holiday started in the best maner. A very nice and good Englishspeaking representative for the apartment met us at the ferry and and guided us to the Apartment. We received useful information for our stay in Supetar and the Apartment. Especially we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the city and the Ocean towards Split. Comfortable beds and two bathrooms are a big plus when five People live together. A cup of coffee from the Nespresso machine at the balcony made a great start of every day. Everything from grocerieshops, restaurants and beaches are located a short walk from the Apartment. All in all a very pleasant stay and we will most probably return some time in the future. We also have to inform that all communication with the owner has run smoothly.

We enjoyed the warm, peaceful, uncrowded environme

  • 5 of 5

We found the apartment in Brac to be an easy location to travel from Zurich. Direct flight to Split. Airport bus to habor ferry. Easy walk to and from the ferry to the apt. It was in a quiet neighborhood.

The apt. was well organized, comfortable and well furnished for 4 adults and 2 children. We appreciated that the apt. had water toys (rafts and snorkeling) and a scooter, games, movies and books for the children and adults. This was important because we were there of season and this gave the kids things to do. The kitchen had everything that we needed including a Nespresso machine and coffee. Amazing view from the Balcony. We took many of our meals enjoying the peaceful, beautiful, wide open ocean view. Lovely sunrises and sunsets.

The apt manual was very well written with a lot of useful local information that we used. The list for the restaurants was great and that the restaurants were family tested favorites. We ticked off a good part of the list. We enjoyed all that we tried and loved the reasonably priced food. Punta was our personal favorite. We went on the suggested walls and took a trip to the other side of the island. We found the local people friendly, helpful and open. We enjoyed chatting with them. We bought food from the markets. Amazing local figs and pomagrates.

You have to remember that Oct is off season. it is still a warm 23c and the water was 21. We enjoyed the warm, peaceful, un-crowded environment for us this was perfect.

Thank you, Cideciyans and the Fuhrmanns

Amazing Croatian Vacatian

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I vacationed on the Croatian Island of Brac for 10 days, and the only thing we would have done differently was to extend our stay, it was very difficult to leave. This apartment in Supetar was incredible, offering all the amenities of home. The view from the balcony was spectacular, we could see the water, contrasted by the rugged landscape of the mainland. This place is tucked away on a hillside and nestled within a mélange of vacation properties and local homes, which added character and genuineness to the wonderful view. Even though it is quiet and off the main beat, a short walk down old stone steps leads you right into the heart of supetar, bustling with locals and tourists alike. There are home-style restaurants, fine dining, coffee shops, grocery stores, boutique shops, bakeries and even a fresh fish and fruit market that we frequented. We loved the fact that we could cook our own meals in the wonderful little kitchen, not only did it save us some money; it also made us feel like part of this beach-side community.

The apartment is incredibly clean, very well appointed and would serve a family of up to 5 or 6 quite well. It was only the two of us, so we had more than enough room, and in fact it felt quite decadent. We walked everywhere we went, and only used our rented car for one day to explore the other side of the island. Once back to the apartment we decided that we didn’t want to see anything else, and stayed in Supetar for the rest of our time there. Walks to the beach were fantastic, the beaches were amazing, and the people of Brac are very warm, friendly and extremely laid back.

Speaking of friendly people, the owners of this apartment are very personable, easy to reach and exhibited a high degree of integrity. I would highly recommend this apartment in Supetar as a vacation destination, and we are so happy we found this place. It’s our new home away from home and we will we back soon, for many years to come!

Great apartment in the perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely bright apartment is in an absolutely perfect location – on a quiet street in a peaceful area but just a short walk from the beach, the harbour and a number of great places to eat. The balcony has a great view and is the perfect place for the first coffee of the day (the apartment has a nespresso machine!) as well as being big enough to comfortably seat 6 at mealtimes.

The split-level layout gives a lot of personal space – we travelled as a couple with two teenagers, and will stay here again either as a family or with friends too, or even just as a couple as we know we’d be getting a great apartment.

Everything in the apartment is of good quality, and the apartment was spotless and well-maintained. Laundry facilities are available in the building. The owner was extremely helpful in providing directions to the various beaches nearby and recommending a variety of excellent restaurants, and was always quick to reply to any query. The apartment feels like home – it’s a nice place to come back to after exploring the area.

The street along the waterfront has vendors selling artwork, bowls etc made from the local Brac stone, olive oil and other produce, and people offering day-trips or moped rentals. It’s a great area for wandering about, and on the short walk from the beach you pass gardens of figs, pomegranate and kiwi. The apartment is near to everything, but very tranquil – I highly recommend this as a place to stay.
