Amazing holiday in March.
We had a lovely break away in this apartment. The apartment is situated in a quiet but very central street in Arrecife. The apartment exceeded our expectations and we could willingly have stayed longer. 1 improvement for us would be to have more wine glasses. Drinking a good bottle of Cava out of a tumbler didn’t feel right! I am sure that we will be returning to enjoy the apartment and Arrecife again. Jorge a big thank you for being very efficient.
Thank you! Great review
My guests usually emphasize the location of the apartment. Being in the center of the city you can leave your car in our parking and visit the whole city walking.
Whenever I exceed the expectations of my clients, I can not be happier.
I always accept with gratitude the recommendations. We have already put more glasses of wine. During your stay you can ask me for anything you need. It is part of the personalized service that I offer.
If you have another chance to come, do not hesitate to count on me. You'll be welcome.
Lovely spot near the lagoon and marina.
Excellent all round, truly exceptional communication and very helpful.
Thank you very much Iain!
The apartment is very close to everything. You can go walking anywhere. Without a doubt the most charming part of Arrecife is the Charco de San Gines. A lagoon open to the sea and full of small boats and "Jaloteros".
Here you will find many popular restaurants among the local population with views of the lagoon and the bell tower of the church of San Ginés. In addition, Arrecife has a beautiful beach and many tourist attractions with the touch of the local artist, Cesar Manrique.
Spent a week here. Very clean, spacious and well equipped apartment. The host Jorge was excellent. Answering all questions promptly and efficiently. A lovely place to stay. 5 to 10 minute walk to all amenities and beach. Arrecefie is a lovely city with plenty of places to see and lots of great bars and restaurants. Can highly recommend this property.
Thank you very much Paula!
I love that you highlight the qualities of my apartment. Of course serving them for me was a great pleasure.
Arrecife is a beautiful city, turned to the sea and away from the tourist crowds. It is a perfect destination for those travelers who want to mingle with the people and the local culture. And without a doubt it is a perfect base to know the natural and cultural wealth of the rest of the island. Lanzarote is an easy island to travel by car or public transport.
I will continue offering the best personalized service so that my guests continue to recommend my holiday apartments.
Well presented apartment in the centre of Historic Areciffe. Jorge was the perfect host welcoming us and explaining the workings of the apartment. We loved having breakfast on the balcony, walking to the old harbour, stopping off at the many eateries and returning to the comfort of the apartment. Perfect base from which to explore Areciffe - would definitely return.
I'm glad you enjoyed the apartment. Thank you for sharing your experience with other travelers.
Come back soon!
all round excellent service and apartment
jorge the property owner was great from start to finish, i asked him lots of questions and he always answered everything i asked in great detail, as for the apartment, the photos you see are true to life, and it was very very clean, and very well located, this is a great place and can not be rivaled. thanks for the great stay.
Great choice for us
Elegant and comfortable and great location for us to explore the island. Parking underneath for small/medium car and close to old town and marina where the many restaurants and bars were used mainly by locals rather than tourists. Balcony had morning sun so nice for breakfast. Owner very accommodating and most helpful. Everything we needed and more. Would definitely use again if returning to the island.
Capital of Lanzarote from the second half of the S. XIX, has become the administrative and commercial center of the island. At all times its marked maritime character is present along with its historical function of defensive strength and its current role as a city of services dedicated to commercial and commercial relations.
As a result of the commercial expansion towards the outside through its historical Dock of the Onion, in hardly two centuries it happened to welcome some small warehouses of load and unloading to become the central nucleus of the island. Its name comes from the set of reefs, islets and small volcanic rocks that predominate along its coastline.
Charco de San Ginés
Between its streets and the old town, it is faithfully perceived as a seafaring and commercial city with the endless amount of merchandise arriving from other ports, present in any of its stores and shops. Another trace of its marine connection is the church of San Ginés, patron saint of Arrecife and appreciated in the form of a painting that came from unknown sources across the sea.
Arrecife is home to shopping centers, stores, bazaars, small and traditional shops, which house products and articles as varied as they directly refer to the privileged situation of the Canary Islands as a step and encounter between continents. The different fiscal treatment of the islands offers more competitive prices in a large part of commercial products.
Among the tourist attractions that Arrecife has, we can point out its defensive castles: the San Gabriel Castle, linked to the capital by the Puente de las Bolas and the Castillo de San José, now converted into the International Museum of Contemporary Art. Another point of undoubted interest is the El Almacén room, which often offers artistic expressions of the great creativity that proliferates in Lanzarote.
Arrecife also has the Reducto Beach, blue flag of the European Union, its long avenue that borders the marine coastline and a charming and appealing corner as is the Charco de San Ginés, located next to the church of San Ginés. It is a kind of lake formed by the entrance of sea water, rest of barges and small boats, surrounded by small fishermen's houses, where the good work of the local artist César Manrique has also intervened.
Agricultural Market of Arrecife
Hours: every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Place: Plaza de Las Palmas, also known as the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Ginés.
Products: Agricultural Products, Crafts, Natural and Ecological Products, Wines and Cheese.
Marina Lanzarote is a modern sports marina located in the heart of the island that has a wide range of leisure and catering.
The climate in the Canary Islands is influenced by the trade winds. The same winds that pushed Columbus to his adventure through the Americas. Here we enjoy a mild winter and summer. With very pleasant temperatures and many days of sunshine. Canarias is made to enjoy the outdoors.
