Why Shirley Beyer-Walsh chose Canmore
We bought this property 7 years ago with the idea of trying out the Bow Valley and seeing if it was really a place for us to move to. From a big city (Edmonton), we spent 2 years coming to Canmore and staying in this condo before committing to Canmore and buying a big enough place for our 7 children to come and stay with us from time to time. We loved our times at Falcon Crest and created some amazing memories there.
What makes this Condo unique
You will find that the location is incredibly convenient to get around by foot or bike. Great trails and paths up Cougar Creek or towards downtown where the night life is high energy and great fun. Easy to get on the Legacy Trail - a paved bike path from Canmore to Banff and past Banff hooking up with Highway 1A out to Johnson Canyon and onto Lake Louise. The biking is absolutely premium and scenery and wildlife are plentiful.

Great Property and Accommodations
This is an excellent property just right outside of Canmore townwhich has lots of options to shop, eat, or get groceries for the room, plus its less than 30mins to Banff! Lots of perks as fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, porch, laundry and cable. The property has a great hot tub/workout center just steps from room. Underground parking is awesome to have. Only feedback for future guest/owner is the bed is not comfortable, it's hard and sinking. The pull out bed couch is even worse. TV would be nice in bedroom too. Otherwise this was perfect for location, price, accommodations, and easily response from owner.
Great weekend getaway!
Perfect for a weekend away. Hot tubs were so relaxing and the suite was located close to everything we needed or wanted to see.
Canmore is beautiful - perfect little condo for a stay
My husband and I spent 6 days in Canmore for our honeymoon. Canmore is absolutely beautiful and a short trip to Banff and Lake Louise. The condo itself was perfect for our stay - cozy, clean and easy. Great location and a great option that feels more like home with a kitchen, fireplace and patio. Thank you, we had a wonderful trip!
Nice and clean. Great location. Easy check in
Very convenient location. Clean and well kept.
Great for couples
Everything we needed, very clean and tidy. A few more microwave dishes would have been handy, but the extra provisions were very helpful in the kitchen. Good location.
My husband and I stayed in this condo from Sep. 2 - 6 and it was fantastic. Pricing is reasonable for the resort and the time of year (end of peak/shoulder season). It's a one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living area on the first floor. The view from the patio wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible. There's a walking path outside but you're not looking at other units or a busy road. The bathroom is not an ensuite so it's easily accessible. The owner doesn't throw out the condiments from each stay so there was some condiments, tea, sugar, coffee, etc. so check it out before going grocery shopping. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofabed. There was lots of closet space. Having a bbq was awesome. One of the resort's hot tubs was being repaired but we didn't have time to try it out since we were so busy sightseeing. The main lot is small but we couldn't get a spot outside one night but it didn't matter since there's also underground parking. There's a vietnamese restaurant on site but it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which seems a bit silly for a resort. We didn't get to try it.
The main strip in Canmore isn't within walking distance but getting a parking spot wasn't a problem. Visit Rocky Mountain Bagels! Banff is only 20 mins away, Lake Louise less than an hour, and 15 mins away from Kananaskis. Closest golf course is Stewart Creek (<10 mins away) and in our opinion better golf than Jasper Park or Banff Springs but understandably, you need to play them as well. Make sure you have your camera!
