Two bedroom ground floor apartment close to beach

About Philip & Alison
We bought this property as a holiday get away. After two years spending nearly every weekend there and loving it so much we decided to move in and live there full time and have had three happy years there. This year we have moved 10 houses down the road (that's how much we love the location) so can thoroughly recommend the area, amenities and a great place to have a relaxing peaceful holiday.
Philip & Alison purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Philip & Alison chose Frinton-on-Sea
Waltham Way is in our opinion a hidden gem in Frinton. You are inside the gates, a five minute stroll down a tree lined Avenue that hosts many fine examples of Art Deco houses to the famous Greensward where you can relax, picnic or sit one of the many benches, or wander down the hill to the beautiful beach. It's a ten minute stroll to the station, and by using the cut through at the end of the road you can also be in Connaught Avenue with all it's character shops within a 15 minute stroll (or half an hour along the beach or paddling in the sea if it's a lovely day). The apartment is cosy and easy to maintain.
What makes this Apartment unique

100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Very clean and comfortable. There was every thing provided for you.
Family members stayed for three days over the Christmas period.
Thanks for the lovely review and we hope to help with your family overflow in 2019!
Ideal for our short stay
Perfect for our short stay in Frinton for our friend’s birthday nearby. Easy 10 min walk to the High Street, and very short walk to the beach the other way.
Good shower, kitchen well equipped, we did have 2 parking spaces (re previous review comment) and were shown round by friendly Philip on arrival.
Top tip, approach via Frinton sea front and not down Central Avenue from Walton Road end. The road takes you over an almost impassable bridge, amazed they still let cars go over it!
Thanks for your lovely review and the tip to avoid central avenue is a good one!
Excellent, easy and practical!
This property is super easy to stay in - all the amenities you need, such as well-thought out and supplied kitchen, great large shower and heaps of storage in the bedrooms. It is well-placed with both the beach and the town within easy walking distance. Two parking spaces would be useful ot many, though we only needed one. And the small garden out the front is charming, and relatively private as it is a No Through road. Loved it!!!
Thanks Katrina for your kind words and it was a pleasure to have you as guests
Great little Flat
This is a lovely flat very clean and well decorated with a sea side theme. It is exceptionally well equipped and there is lots of information about places to visit. It is close to the sea and to shops. There is plenty of storage space which is very useful as the twin bedroom is a little cramped for two adults. However in every other way it is perfect.
The property was very well equipped and ideal for us and our two grandchildren. The hosts were very welcoming.
A real home from home, we missed it as soon as we left!
This wonderful groundfloor apartment was truly a home from home for us and we were so sad to leave after a fortnight there! We thoroughly enjoyed being so close to the fabulous beach (clean and not overrun!) - particularly in the glorious heatwave (hurrah for the ceiling fans!) but the lovely secluded garden was also perfect for a picnic lunch with the kids too - it's deceptively large when you're in it and lovely for an early morning cuppa or evening glass of wine as well (besides having space for drying swimming gear on the airer ;-) ).
The appartment works really well for a family too as all the rooms have doors to keep the (TV/washing machine) noise down at night and the washer was such a blessing with kids! (and theres a dryer too!) It was fab to have all the basics in like loo roll (Philip even brought us extra round!) and hand wash etc and to not have to worry about bath towels (fluffy towels!) or bed linen.
Philip&Alison made us feel really welcome right from the word go and the communication was so easy and uncomplicated. Even arriving late on a Saturday night was no problem and Philip
even stopped to help us set up the second bed.
I can imagine the place would be great in winter too, its well insulated so would be really cozy. And the oven&stove work like a dream&all the equiptment is there for baking yummy bread and cakes...
We would definitely like to go back some time and would wholeheartedly recommend Philip&Alison's place for a short or long stay.
Thanks so much for a lovely review, it was a pleasure having you as guests and you are always welcome back. Philip & Alison
