Boot Cottage is a hideaway in the small village of Kirkinner in the Machar region, part of the Unesco Biosphere, in Dumfries and Galloway. From the front door parking area, directly in front of the cottage, you step over the threshold into a large open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area and through to the garden with its own decking and seating area great for a sundowner or a Bar-B-Q. Stairs lead up to the large bedroom with King Sized 1000 spring bed. The ground floor bathroom has a walk in shower.
Although from the outside it may look small, the cottage is deceptively roomy inside. There is a Feeeview tv with attached blu-ray player, a washer/dryer, full oven and hob as well as a microwave, and all tastefully furnished and decorated.

Wonderful cosy cottage in lovely Village
Boot cottage is a lovely cottage , clean and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay great. The little extra , milk, bread, jam and even our dog was left bowls and food. Lovely walks nearby. Fast WiFi which was a bonus.
We would highly recommend boot cottage and looking to book another weekend soon.
Cute, quirky dog-friendly cottage
Gorgeous little cottage with a lovely warm welcome off the owner. Lovely little touches like, milk, bread, butter, jam, dog biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar etc..on arrival. Has everything you could need, quirky decor and paintings which I guess was by one of the owners as there was a book in there which was written and illustrated by the same name, really interesting place to stay....including the reason it was named "Boot Cottage"..highly recommended as there's loads of places to visit and an abundance of wildlife in Dumfries and Galloway.
