Posto auto in cortile.
Peccato aver potuto soggiornare solo 3 notti.
Ci torneremo senza dubbio!
: Arriving in Rovigo. We can begin our visit admiring the Town Hall building, from the 16th century and then rebuilt in the 18th century; the eighteenth-century Clock Tower; the building of the Accademia dei Concordi, which houses the rich Pinacoteca dei Concordi and the Pinacoteca del Seminario; the Roverella palace of the 400; and the Roncale palace by Michele Sanmicheli from 1555. A particular visit is a must for the Cathedral dedicated to Santo Stefano pope. This ancient building, in which we admire numerous sculptures and paintings, has undergone reconstruction in the late seventeenth century and still has an unfinished facade. Not far from the Duomo, inside the public garden, we find the two leaning towers: the crenellated Donà tower, one of the tallest Italian medieval towers, and a cropped tower, which are part of a vanished castle, built in 920 by the bishop of Adria Paolo Cattaneo. In Rovigo we also find: the tower of via Pighin, also dating back to the time of the bishops, which was part of the walls built in 1138 by the bishop Florio Cattaneo; and, in the heart of the city, trapezoidal, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II characterized by the presence of a stone column with the lion of San Marco in 1881. Moreover, of Romanesque - Gothic forms but then renewed in the nineteenth century, we have the church of San Francesco with the bell tower of 1520. Finally, we find: the Beata del Soccorso, also called the "Rotonda", built in 1594-1613, with the bell tower of Baldassarre Longhena; and the Civic Museum of Civilizations in Polèsine, in the former monastery of the Olivetans of San Bartolomeo, where we can admire numerous archaeological finds from the Roman age. In the territory of Rovigo there is the park of the Po delta where you can admire a nature, fauna and flora of indescribable beauty. Also in the area there are several accommodation and restaurants where you can taste local culinary specialties, especially fish caught in the delta and sea fish. about 20 minutes by car we find the magnificent city of Ferrara with a lot of history and events: APRIL: International kite festival
MAY: Palio with a historical procession, a thousand participants parade in costume to reach Piazza Ariostea where the contests are held.
AUGUST: Ferrara Buskers Festival, an international festival of street musicians who fill the streets and squares with music and colors.
SEPTEMBER: Ferrara Ballons Festival, the most important ballooning festival in Italy and one of the most prestigious in Europe (the residence is near the urban park where the event takes place and can also be reached by bicycle).
OCTOBER: Journalists, writers, artists and readers from all over the world meet in Ferrara for the new edition of the International Festival.
