Disappointing experience made worse by poor host.
When we arrived we had no check in instructions because the host "forgot" to send us the check in details. Once we got into the unit after receiving the instructions, we found that the toilet seat and door to the bathroom were both broken and a light fixture in the kitchen was constantly turning off - by itself. The bathroom door did not close. Given the layout of the apartment (bathroom is basically a part of the kitchen) you better hope you're traveling with "close" friends if that door is broken.
Later that night, jumped in to take a shower, and the shower head falls on me. The nut securing it to the tube where water comes out of was cracked. When we finally went to sleep, we were woken by the smoke alarm batteries.
Sounds fun, yeah?
To make matters worse, Cedric had no clear intent in addressing any of the issues. We were met with excuses, if we were given any response at all. I wish I could provide photos as a part of this review. Keep in mind, Cedric asked us to pay extra before even arriving because his property manager now charges more money...but yet these items are still in disrepair!
If you have children please consider the large patches of peeling paint - and make sure they do not eat it!
Property owners should have better systems in place for when things go wrong. This experience was unacceptable.
