The apartment building is a redevelopment of the first power plant of Krakow that started operation in 1905. Many artefacts of that Galician industrial complex have been preserved, while its façade has been carefully restored. The redevelopment project was completed in 2017 and resulted in beautiful unique complex. In that year it was honoured as “construction of the year”, a Polish architectural award.
The apartment itself is located in the very heart of this industrial redevelopment, roughly at the site of the former furnace.
