I use this Condo when I want to spend time in Waikiki so I want it nice! Great location away from the hustle and bustle of people, cars and buses. Well almost, it is Waikiki after all! Located on Lemon Road, a quiet one way street one street mauka (towards the mountains) from Kalakaua and Waikiki Beach. Lemon Road is just one block long so doesn't get much noisy buses!
One block from Kapiolani park, the zoo, the aquarium and Waikiki Shell (for concerts). 'Sunset on the Beach' offers free movies on a big screen TV on the sand just one and half block from this Condo. Secure building with entry card that only allows residents to access their floor from the elevator. Only six apartments per floor.

Coin laundry located in parking area. And yes, there is a parking stall assigned specifically for this Condo and it is FREE with the rental. Free parking is a rarity in Waikiki!
No smoking allowed. This condo doesn't have a private lanai however there is small lanai on 9th floor with beautiful blue Pacific Views where you can enjoy the ocean view or read.

This condo at Tradewinds Plaza feels like a HOME away from HOME and not like a hotel.

I like to boogie board at the wall, just 1/2 block away where no surfboards are allowed. The location of this condo is terrific because it has easy access off of the freeway and down Kapahulu. You don't have to go into the heart of Waikiki with all the traffic to get to it.
The condo feels like a home and not a hotel. It is a fairly small building with some full time occupants. I hardly ever see anyone on the elevator. The building is well maintained and Lemon Road is a small one lane street with no city bus noise!
Fantastic location, exceptionally clean unit and the comfort of a home away from home. Thank you for making our trip to Oahu so comfortable and convenient. Mahalo
The pictures tell the whole story it's a room with a bed, closet and bathroom.Perfect for one or two people.For the money you can't beat the location it's literally one block away from the beach and parking is included in the price. I brought my own blender but they provide all the utensils you'll ever need and more if you decide to cook at the room( no stove but a hot plate is provided.) If I go back to Waikiki I would rent this room again. I must add the owner's directions from checking in to check out were spot on and very helpful.
Pros: The property was close to downtown and the beach, and has designated parking which was a plus. The building was secure and we felt safe. Gina responded to mail and phone calls quickly.
Cons: It is a bit noisy at night because you are located between two hostels.
This was our third stay at Gina's place. We love it!! Comfortable and all the things we need to feel like we are at home. The building is secure and feels safe. We enjoyed using the free parking space (parking can be SO EXPENSIVE in Waikiki). Location next to the park is great for a run, walk or to play tennis on the free courts. Queens beach is a great place to catch some sun or do some boogie boarding. We will be back.
This was my first experience using a vacation rental property and I couldn't be happier! This unit is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need. It is a very short walk to the beach, about 5 minutes. I loved the location for strolling around through the shops in the evening or getting up early to run the jogging path around Kapiolani park. The building is quiet, has laundry facilities and the unit comes with parking. Gina sends along perfect instructions and will ensure you have the keys in a timely manner. I will definitely use this property again if available. Thank you Gina!
We really enjoyed our visit to Waikiki, and staying at Gina's place was a plus!
The location is ideal, at the end of the hotel line, and therefore not as crowded.
We walked to the beach and shops, and there were a large choice of restaurants.
Her condo is very small, but there were only two of our, so it was fine. Not great
for cooking, but we only made breakfast there.
Gina's unit is very well positioned near all the activities in the Waikiki area and also allows the visitor to easily access the public transport system if they want to visit the more distant Honolulu places.
The unit had all the conveniences in term of self catering facility, although we used very few items.
The only constructive comment I would make is that before the visitor arrive you should make a some drawers and hanging room available. We did not feel comfortable moving your things out to place our items in the drawers.
We really had a lovely stay, all the arrangements worked well and we would like to thank you, Gina, for allowing us to stay in your unit.
