Our family apartment has 2 b/rooms, 2 shower rooms, air conditioning / heating in the lounge & both of the bedrooms plus it can sleep up to 6 people [ 4 persons in the 2 bedrooms and 2 persons on a large comfortable Sofa bed situated in the lounge]. Refurbished in Jan 2011 with new furniture and a fully fitted kitchen it is both modern and fresh. It is set in a superb location on the popular Clube Albufeira family holiday resort in the centre of the Algarve. You will enjoy the new fully fitted kitchen, complete with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric hob, electric oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle & coffee maker - everything you are likely to need for an enjoyable holiday. The apartment has a spacious lounge/dining area with patio doors leading to a good sized patio overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens . The gardens and lawns adjoining the patios offer somewhere for the children to play while in full view of the apartment. One of the bedrooms has a new en-suite and there is a new second shower room. The apartment is fully air conditioned for your comfort during the warm summer months.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT: This family apartment is on the well known Clube Albufeira Holiday Resort, and was refurbished in 2011. It has its own WiFi installation offering speeds of up to 20meg including most UK tv and live streaming for many Films and programs. The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, (one opening on to a patio) 2 shower rooms, plus air conditioning in the lounge & both bedrooms, it will sleep up to 6 people when using the Large Sofa bed in the lounge. It is set in a superb holiday resort in the center of the Algarve. You will enjoy the new fully fitted kitchen, complete with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric hob, electric oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle & coffee maker in fact all that you may need for your perfect holiday. This apartment is fully air conditioned and has a spacious lounge, dining area, with sliding doors leading to a good sized patio overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens and the perfectly manicured lawns. There are 2 bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and its own patio plus there is also a second family bathroom.

ABOUT THE COMPLEX: Ideal for any time of the year. Clube Albufeira has four large swimming pools one heated complete with supervised children's pool all within 2 minutes stroll of the apartment. Each pool area has its own excellent restaurant or snack and all within a very short distance. There are four pool side restaurants offering a wide selection of menus from breakfast to dinner in the evening. plus Mini golf course and swings. The Algarve shopping centre with hypermarket, cinema, bowling, range of shops and restaurants are only a short distance away as are the beautiful beaches of Albufeira, there is a free shuttle bus four times a day to the quaint old town, but it is still within a reasonable walking distance. Taxis to and from the old town are approx 4 Euro and can be booked at reception. Many world class golf courses are within 20 to 40 minutes drive. Contact reception when you arrive for fee discounts and reserved tee times.

First of all can I please thank you both for the ease in which it was to deal with you in organising our holiday to Albufeira. You could not have made things any easier for us which was a real plus when travelling with 2 and 4 year old children!

Transfers etc. were very welcome when we arrived in Faro and our driver was very helpful in briefing us on general information on the Algarve.

On arrival at your apartment we had no problems with the master-lock which proved to be very useful during our 2 week stay for obvious reasons!

Your apartment is fantastic and set in an ideal location in both the Clube Albufeira resort and the Albufeira area in general. The proximity to the pools and restaurants is perfect, particularly where young kids are concerned, and the garden off your terrace provides ample play space for winding down, evening drinks etc. Your neighbours too are very friendly and were a pleasure to get to know during our stay. Very helpful.

In reality the old town in Albufeira is a taxi journey for young families / older clientele. However, very reasonable in our opinion at less than 4 euro each way.

All in all we have a marvellous couple of weeks at your apartment and would have no hesitation in recommending to both friends and family. For those who choose your apartment this summer and in the future, they will not be disappointed.

Close to the old town of Albufeira, this apartment is on a complex offering 4 swimming pools, 4 restaurants, 4 bars with snacks available, tennis courts, mini golf and other amusements. Close to the complex lies the old town of Albufeira [there is a free shuttle bus during the summer months from the complex]. The old town has many low cost Portuguese restaurants with 4 course menus from as little as 9 Euro include wine. Bordering the town are numerous beaches with golden sands and small coves, also within easy reach of the complex are water parks, zoos, amusement parks not to mention the Historical towns of Faro, Silves, Lagos, Portimao & various other towns and famous villages to visit. A car would be required for some of these places although trips are available through many local tour operators. All in all there is so much to do and see in the pleasant Portuguese weather that your holiday will not be long enough.

The general area is well serviced by local transport but for a special day out why not take a train to Lisbon it really is a great way of seeing the area as the train rushes through the countryside, the trains are clean, on time and inexpensive.

Golf: Salgados Golf course is open all year and is only 6kms away close to the sea it is a great place and a good course.

There are many low cost car rental companies about with prices from 50 Euros per week for a small 4 door budget car out of high season and if staying for more than a week it could be a good option.

  • The family shower room has been completely refurbished with new shower cubical, new hand basin and a new toilet, all of the walls have been re-tiled in modern colours making this a pleasant room to use. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower cubical plus a new toilet, new vanity unit and hand basin and a new bidet, it has been completely re-tiled throughout and offers a high standard of finish, both showers have been fitted with thermostatic shower-mixers for your comfort, Also both shower rooms have extractor fans to help keep the rooms as fresh as possible.

  • Each of the bedrooms has been recently decorated and air conditioning has been installed in both rooms. There is a new en-suite in the main bedroom complete with a toilet & bidet . Both bedrooms have large mirrored wardrobes with drawer units inside of them and ample hanging space. All bed linen is new. The main bedroom overlooks the lawns to the rear of the property and is a very pleasant room & the other bedroom is of a similar size but without the en-suite although it does have a shower room /toilet just outside the bedroom door in the hall.

Notes:
The television has very limited UK programs as the satellite.has recently been turned off that did cover southern Europe We supply all linen and towels, plus special towels (stripped) for use at the pool side or at the beach. No smoking or use of candles is allowed in the property. However, there is an ash tray provided and smoking on the terrace is not a problem. Internet is free in the apartment with speeds of up to 20Mbps & is not shared with any other user. The air conditioning will provide heat during any winter stays if required. The mobile phone reception is very good in this area.
