Our truly oceanfront and beautifully remodeled, large 1200 square feet condominium has everything you are looking for! Treat yourself to an oceanfront pool, oceanfront master bedroom suite, oceanfront lanai with travertine eating bar, and 32 feet of floor to ceiling oceanfront windows to gaze at the surfers (best surf spot on the Island!), whales, dolphins and sunsets. In addition to the amazing views and setting our Hawaii home is gorgeously decorated with travertine floors, large granite kitchen counter top, and a beautiful custom master bathroom with travertine and glass walk in shower.

This unit is fully equipped for 5 people including the well stocked kitchen, beach and bath towels and sleeping arrangements. There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a queen and twin bed in the 2nd bedroom, a convertible sofa that comfortably sleeps two. Ceilng fans in all rooms and a full size washer and dryer are also included for your use.

An assortment of beach supplies is provided to enhance your beach and ocean experience including boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment, umbrellas, fishing gear, etc. We are child friendly and have DVD's, games and pool and beach gear for them. We are centrally located and close to beautiful beaches and snorkeling areas. In addition to all of this we have Wi-Fi, two brand new LCD TV's, DVD players and 70+ high definition cable channels for you.

Wow! 5 Stars!! Your condo is wonderful. I don't know how we will be able to sleep back in ATL. without the sound of the waves! "The Sunset" We've never seen a ore beautiful 'sunset'...thank you for doing all the little extra's to make our vacation AWSOME! The beach chairs, towels, boogi boards (oh boy..the girls loved those), all the cooking utensils a person could ever need! We used the Hawaii Big Island Revealed 4th Edition you recommended everywhere we went! Loved the comments and info you adde. We've stayed in condo's before, but yours by far has the beat. Most condo's will only hold a family of 4 and you've set your's up to hold more comfortably & I have to brag on the resident manager who showed us our first turtle! Thank you sooo much for the 5 star Stay!

I would give this property 10 stars if I could! It is great location and a fabulous property. Everything is there that you need. I loved the wall of windows facing the ocean. It was wonderful to watch the sea, the surfers and the sunsets.

The property is well maintained and beautifully decorated. Janice has put together a guidebook with lots of very helpful tips.

I can't wait to go back. We had a fabulous stay.

Beautiful Condo with Amazing Ocean Views!

We enjoyed our stay at the Banyan Tree #302. The condo is beautiful decorated and has breathtaking views of the ocean. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach gear - towels, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, and chairs. The tips from Janice and Robert on things to do and places to eat were so helpful. I loved the Big Island Revealed book. So many great tips and advice. The Banyan Tree was very conveniently located for our excursions going north and south along the coast. We enjoyed watching the surfers. We attempted to ride the waves but be warned it is pretty rough out there. If you go out make sure to use the stairs. We went out by the small sandy beach and got caught by the rocks. We saw turtles which was a treat! The only negative is that when we were there it was humid. Even with the windows open and the fans on it would get a little stuffy when we were sleeping. Overall we loved the condo!

Outstanding Place to stay!

My Husband spent eight wonderful days at the Banyan Tree #302. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay. It was without question the best appointed condo I've ever stayed at, and the view was so wonderful, I could of stayed on the lanai and watched the waves and surfers all day.

I like to run, so a simple step out of the elevator and you are running along the route of famous Ironman competition, two and a half miles down the road and you are surrounded by the beauty of Kona.

It's a great place to refresh your soul and a perfect place to call home base during your Hawaiian adventure.

Bnayon Tree #302 exceeds expectations!

We read all the reviews before booking. All we can say "ditto". The condo exceeded our expectations. We have rented others in the past, but this is the best equipped (from kitchen to beach stuff) that we have ever seen. The owners are responsive and well-organized. From booking to checkout, you knew just what to expect and do, If you want to enjoy the best of the Big Island, this is a great place to start. We’ve stayed at many condos on each island and have learned that “oceanfront” has a tendency to be over-used a lot, but it’s still Hawai’i so we never cared. However, this trip was planned as an eye-opener for my parents & best friends who are perplexed by our “obsession” for leaving the mainland. So we REALLY wanted to give them that “Wow” factor, but without the city-like Waikoloa area which would also bust the bank!


I COULDN’T HAVE BEEN ANY HAPPIER with our decision! When I saw the view at Banyan Tree #302 in person, my mouth literally dropped open! It’s floor to ceiling windows of solid water & horizon views! Only a couple of feet of rock are visible if you hold yourself almost over the railing, which had honu munching on the limu every morning!

The condo can sleep 6. Two in the main bed, a second room with 2 twin beds, & a fold-out bed in the living room which can be privatized by build-in shoji screens that retract into the wall. The kitchen is amazingly stocked, as is the laundry room & bathrooms, which is nice since most condos only leave one-time use sundries. Also, this is the first time that we’ve never rented our own snorkeling equipment, as usually what is offered is old, busted, or limited in sizes. Not the case with Banyan Tree #302! There was almost an obscene amount of snorkel gear, fins, beach towels, swim noodles, boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs, ice chests, etc.

CONS: This is difficult, but I’ll throw a few nit-picks in just to assure people that I’m a real renter

1.) I had the most difficult time getting my ex-surfer father to get off the lanai & stop watching the waves, surfers, & the ocean in general!

2.) Shoji screens, although beautiful, they are paper-thin, and the makai side stays open about 8” or so, so no hanky panky! ;)~

3.) As with EVERY condo on Ali’i Drive, road noise can be an issue for the back bedroom. This was easily alleviated with fans & “noise machine” on the iphone.

This condo had everything you could ask for to live in complete comfort with a million-plus dollar view to boot! There just isn’t enough time in the day to list every amenity about this amazing property! Staying at the Banyan Tree #302 has certainly helped us to realize exactly what we’re in search of when looking for our little piece of paradise! Robert & Janice, our sincerest thanks for sharing your amazing property with my Ohana, and we hope to visit again next year. Mahalo!
