The villa is located in the Madonie Park, about 400 meters high, in a sunny and breezy area.
The villa is surrounded by the land, rich in fruit trees and ash trees, which keep the air clean. Inside the property you will find a villa with a patio, where you can have lunch and dinner outside, a well-tended garden with paths and lighting, a large Jacuzzi. The house is cool even during the summer, but if it is hot, it is equipped with efficient and modern air conditioning. It is also used by the owners, for which it is furnished with care and equipped with Sicilian ceramics and new and tasteful objects. The villa-built by the current owner according to his family (two adults and two children and possible friends of the latter) has an entrance gate through which to enter with the car, which can be parked inside or outside 'exterior of the property, a pedestrian gate if you do not want to have the car too close to the villa, two entrances separated to the house, large windows with mosquito nets and shutters in all the rooms.
The ideal place to rest, read, do birdwatching and walks in the woods of the Park, or go to the beach every day and then enjoy the tranquility and silence of the countryside. Numerous deckchairs and armchairs are available for use outside. During the night there are no loud noises, you can hear the gentle chirping of crickets or the distant voice of nocturnal birds. It has a kitchen with sink, oven and extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine, breakfast table in the kitchen and dining table in the living room and in the garden, electric kettle and toaster. In the evening in the Pietrarosa Theater of the nearby village of Pollina (7 km) you can watch different kinds of shows, dance evenings or theater shows, or simply walk at sunset with a magnificent view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands and then taste a great pizza in the Trattoria alla Torre, at the foot of the ancient tower of the castle. From the villa you can easily reach the village of Castelbuono, full of restaurants, pizzerias and renowned pastry shops, the Norman town of Cefalù, where you can walk to the majestic Duomo tasting an ice cream, the village of Santo Stefano di Camastra, known worldwide for the colorful ceramics. We also suggest an adventurous excursion to discover the "canyon" formed by the Pollina river, booking a visit to the Tiberio Gorges. You can also request a visit to the ash fields that are "damaged" to produce the "manna", a sugary juice that finds numerous uses in the field of natural medicine and pastry. In case you want to make excursions or mini-cruises to the Aeolian Islands, there are hydrofoils that depart from Cefalù or from Milazzo. If you are a bike lover, you will find various possibilities for excursions, both on dirt roads, asphalt, uphill and flat roads. State roads are usually not very busy because heavy vehicle traffic takes place almost exclusively on the motorway: ask the Villa owners more information on cycling or motorbike tours.
