Newer home on the canyon ridge. Fully stocked kitchen for any type of cooking needs. The stars are amazing here, especially enjoyable from the hot tub. We are 7 miles from Zion National Park East entrance and next to the Zion Ponderosa Resort. They offer many activities for all ages. You can access many hikes in Zion National Park from here without having to drive into the park to catch the shuttle. There are no crowds on the way out to Observation Point, the East Rim Trail or Cable mountain from the trails here, just quiet and solitude. Bryce National Park is just over an hour away. Lake Powell and North Grand Canyon are just under 2 hours. My husband and I own this home and also vrbo 425700. We manage several other homes in this same community. Beautiful Home, Fabulous Location, & Wonderful Owner
This cabin was amazing! The location was peaceful and quiet, the inside of the cabin was an oasis for our week-long vacation. Everything was just as advertised - clean, comfortable and top of the line. And if you forgot your travel guides, there's a wide selection at the cabin to help you. Sharon went out of her way both before we arrived and while we were there to help us have a fabulous trip. The cabin is HUGE and our group of 8 had tons of space....we put the adults on the ground floor, and the kids all downstairs with their own TV, mini kitchen, and living area. It snowed on Christmas Day and it was beautiful (but no worries, the road was quickly plowed). We even had a family of deer that visited daily. Without a doubt, one of the best cabin experiences we have ever had & we would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for a memorable vacation!
Beautiful home with every amenity you could want!
Sharon was so accommodating and made herself available if needed. This is a high quality home with perfect indoor and outdoor amenities. Wish we had a few days to hang out there!
Amazing house overlooking the valley
We were a family of three generations visiting Zion National Park and Starry Ridge was the perfect place to stay. Just 10-15 min outside of the park, the Home provided 5 large bedrooms, each with separate bathrooms, huge, well equipped kitchen, hot tub and amazing views of the canyon. Nearby Pondeosa resort provided a restaurant, pool, kid activities and a fun, sunset Jeep ride. We picked up groceries at Sol Foods in Springdale and cooked most meals. Sharon the homeowner provided great hiking trail advice and even hiking sticks for the Narrows.
Beautiful very well appointed large home near Zion NP worked perfectly for our family reunion!
Our group of 13 was very happy with the provisions and layout of the home, and amenities available at the Ponderosa Ranch less than a mile away. The 4 large king ensuites gave each family plenty of space, with the kids using the 5th ensuite and a large basement offering many comfortable sleeping options. Blackout shades and the quiet hilltop location provide a restful morning lie-in...unless you’re leaving early for morning hikes to beat the heat.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, P&P, and especially lots of space to cook and eat. Outside, the hot tub, ping pong table, badminton/volleyball court and large property kept the kids busy after our morning adventures to Zion and Bryce.
One of our favorite mornings was hiking to Zion’s Observation Point from the nearby Ponderosa Ranch trailhead. The easy 3+ mile one way hike was much better than the 2200’ uphill climb if we started at the bottom of the canyon in the park. The views were spectacular from there.
Sharon was extremely helpful in providing suggestions for where we do our grocery and beverage shopping, traversing the park on day 1 and sharing info on the ranch’s amenities. We all agreed the house was one of the highlights of our wonderful Zion experience.
Exquisite house in a perfect location.
We recently stayed here with my extended family (12, including 4 teens). We have stayed in many VRBO's, and this was definitely one of our favorites. There was more than enough room, and having 4 king beds with private baths was fantastic. The twin room and murphy beds worked great for the teens. We are big foodies, and found the kitchen had everything we needed (make sure you get groceries in Konab as there isn't much shopping near the house). We really liked being on the east side of Zion--while it is a bit of a drive to get to the valley, the drive is amazing. And we were close enough to Bryce Canyon to drive there for the day. We also spent a lot of time hanging out at the house--playing ping pong & volley ball and soaking in the hot tub. Everything was top of the line, and the hosts seem to think of everything (including games for those raining afternoons). The kids enjoyed using the resort pool (which does cost extra to use). All in all, I would highly recommend this house.
