The Apartments are located in Trastevere between S.Maria in Trastevere Square and Sisto IV Bridge, in the heart of Rome. The houses are on the first floor of an ancient palace of the mid 1700's, with original wooden ceilings.

Trastevere district is renowned for its beautiful squares and fountains, the uniqueness of its streets and for its typical pizzerias, gelaterias and restaurants. The location is great for visiting the most beautiful places in Rome like San Peter and the Vatican Museum, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Mouth of Truth. A few minutes away from the house are also to visit the Botanical Gardens, Palazzo Corsini in Lungara, and Villa Farnesina, which contains frescoes by Raphael 'The Triumph of Galatea' 'The Loggia of Cupid and Psyche' and many other masterpieces of the Renaissance.
Arrived in Rome and called Alessandro on my way to the apartment, he was at the door when I arrived. The location is perfect, the apartment is clean and well equipped with everything one could expect. The bed is comfortable for a good nights sleep and I found the apartment to be very quiet. Will stay again when I return to Rome.
Alessandro, has a book in the apartment with reccomendations of restaurants in the area that is very helpful.
The appartment of Alessandro is a nice place to be in in Trastevere. It is a bit small, but it's nice and clean and cosy. Alessandro is a very friendly host en helped us very good. Only at night it is a bit noisy outside.
The location of the appartment is well situated for visiting ancient Rome. The appartment is well equipped for two persons if one doesn't want to do some cooking As it is too small for doing so.
Beds were fine. Arco did work well, but if one wants to sleep with windows open there is too much noise outside. Tablechairs were not that best.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
My wife and I booked a trip to a few locations in Europe for our honeymoon, including Rome.
Alessandro was courteous and professional in our entire dealings with him, from before the trip through its conclusion. He met us in-person for check-in and check-out. He provided detailed and accurate information for getting from the airport to his property.
His property itself was top-notch, located in Trastevere, an amazing neighborhood. Warning: it was loud at night! But then again, if you are going to Trastevere to catch up on your sleep, you are not planning your vacation well. The apartment was cooled by A/C, the water worked well (remember to turn on the heater, works like a charm), it featured an AMAZING private terrace, the bed was comfortable, and the whole place was homely and comfortable.
As for the location, it simply can't be beated. Trastavere is an amazing location in an amazing city. We dined like kings while we were there, and all the amazing sights were in walking distance.
Alessandro was a consummate professional, and made our trip extremely pleasant. We hope to return to Rome as soon as we can, and we will absolutely be looking to book this exact property or another property with Alessandro when we do!!!! I wish I was there right now!!!!!!
We had to schedule this at the last minute as another apartment we had booked became unavailable due to a fire. The choices in this price range were slim and I was a bit concerned that we were going to have to settle for something less than hoped. However this apartment turned out to be perfect. Although the Trastavere district is very busy it is beautiful and the dining and shopping choices are many. The seemingly random medieval street pattern is amazing. The 19th century building is lovely and atmospheric. The apartment though on the small side certainly had all that was needed for our party of 3 - it could accommodate 4 (2 in large bed upstairs and 2 on sofabed) though things might get cramped. It was VERY clean. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are not for those with mobility issues, and the bathroom is upstairs as well. The terrace for this unit is accessed off the hallway just outside the apartment door, and again it is not for the mobility challenged but it is a beautiful little green oasis where we ate most of our meals and enjoyed morning cappuccino and pastries from nearby shops. The apartment has new double glazed windows which help mitigate the street noise that comes from bars and restaurants and street revellers - but if you are a light sleeper you will likely have problems as Friday and Saturday night in particular were busy which is to be expected. The wifi was excellent. Very close to the river and H bus as well as tram. Easily walked within 1/2 hour to Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseum and most sights. Loved the little restaurants with street seating in Trastavere - great choice, good quality and very affordable. Would love to go back! Thanks Alessandro!
What a great apartment in what I consider the best neighborhood in Rome, Trastevere. We literally walked everywhere, Vatican City, Colosseum, Forum, Piaza Di Pupolo, Testaccio, etc. There is a bakery just two doors down and great restaurants close by.
Alessandro the owner was quite friendly and responsive to my online requests as well as getting us a taxi on departure.
The neighborhood can be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us at all once we closed the windows.
We went on two food tours; Taste of Trastevere and Taste of Testaccio, both were fabulous. Definitely do one of these when in Rome.
