Région extraordinaire avec un couple d'hote extraordinaire

Région tres riche, de toute beauté avec une grande histoire. Que de coins à découvrir: des villes historiques, des citadelles, les marchés de producteurs locaux, les grottes...

Le gîte dans lequel nous étions était tout équipé, donc parfait pour les vacances. Jean Pierre et Daniele Douay sont des personnes d'une gentillesse incroyable, avenant, et accueillant. Ils sont par ailleurs de très bon conseil pour découvrir la région. Et aller chercher son lait frais le soir auprès du fermier voisin est très plaisant. N'hésitez pas à aller discuter avec ce dernier, Dominique, tres gentil et haut en couleur.

Au travers de ce sejour nous n'avons qu'un seul regret, ne pas être resté deux semaines voire plus pour profiter de la région et du confort du gîte.

Apres une journee de découverte c'est agréable de se mettre au bord de la piscine qui plus est chauffée.

Vraiment que du positif dans cette expérience et je crois sans trop m'avancer que toutes les personnes qui rencontreront Daniele et Jean Pierre en ressortiront grandit et satisfaits, leur chaleur humaine est incontestable tout comme leur amour pour leur région d'adoption!

Owner's Response: Toute passion se nourrit de partages, et l'accueil de nos hôtes, quelle que soit leur région d'origine ou d'adoption, en Pays Basque Intérieur (le plus authentique parait-il...) est toujours pour nous l'expérience d'un enrichissement personnel. Nous nous réjouissons que votre séjour ait été une réussite et vous remercions sincèrement de votre commentaire à cet égard. Mais comme dans tout partage, chacun y apporte sa contribution et vous avez participé pleinement à ce résultat, ce dont nous vous remercions également. Nous ne pouvons que nous associer à votre remarque concernant la difficulté d'appréhender toute la diversité de notre région, sur le plan des paysages, des sites à visiter ou des lieux de culture historique, mais l'expérience nous prouve qu'un premier contact est souvent à l'origine de l'envie de découvertes ultérieures plus approfondies. En ce qui nous concerne, plus de 10 années sur place n'ont toujours pas étanché notre soif à cet égard... Nous aurons donc certainement de nouvelles découvertes à vous faire partager lorsque vous programmerez un prochain séjour dans cette ancienne province de Navarre, aux portes des autres provinces du Pays Basque, mais aussi du Béarn. vous êtes ici dans un calme particulièrement appréciable ! même si la maison a du mal à être trouvée quand le panneau "gîte" est couvert par un volet (LOL), vous serez heureux d'arriver chez ces hôtes ! tout ici est fait pour se régaler de paysages, de sérénité, et du "zen" ambiant. nous avons une semaine de VRAIES vacances, sans être pour autant coupés du monde. un réel plaisir pour lequel nous remercions nos hôtes qui nous ont bien gâtés. merci encore pour les petites douceurs ! rien ne manque dans ce bon logis. une petite chose à préciser pour vos futurs pensionnaires : la cafetière est une senséo, prévoir les dosettes ! :) merci encore, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour bien situé au milieu de "tout" votre pays basque !

Vous rêvez d'être accueillis d'une manière fort agréable, être conseillés pour profiter à fond de votre séjour que ce soit pour les visites ou bonnes adresses dégustations ? ce gîte est très agréable, très pratique, situé dans une campagne d'un grand calme ; les propriétaires sont des gens charmants, très disponibles pour vous conseiller sur leur région qu'ils aiment et décrivent avec passion.

Location à recommander pour un couple avide de visites dépaysantes sans oublier la possibilité de profiter de la piscine entourée de nature
