About the property

A beautifully designed, light and airy two bedroom flat on the top floor of a block of new built flats above Daisy May shopping arcade.

We bought this brand new holiday home from new a few years ago and bought brand new furnishings at the time to go in it. It has a lovely open plan kitchen/living/dining area with brand new luxury fully equipped kitchen area. The flat faces West and benefits from the afternoon and evening sun.

As we have four children, we have laid the apartment out with the larger bedroom to have two sets of bunk beds, to sleep four, with the smaller bedroom being set up with a double bed. Both bedrooms have brand new chests of drawers for clothes, and there is also under-bed storage for any other items, bags, shoes, etc to keep them out of the way. All bed linen is provided.

The luxury bathroom is well designed and appointed with a full length bath and overhead shower attachment, separate sink and toilet, full length tiling, heated towel rail, and a over-bath washing line (with pegs) to dry out bathing costumes. Bath and hand towels are provided, but you need to bring your own beach towels.

The flat is double glazed throughout with sash windows and adjustable blinds.

There is a dining table and comfortable leather chairs for six people and a spacious L shaped leather sofa. There is also a flat-screen TV with freeview and wifi. We also have a remote-controlled Bluetooth hi-fi system which will pair with any Bluetooth device, such as iPhone, etc.

The well equipped kitchen has a fridge with small freezer, an oven, grill, hob, extractor fan and separate microwave and a brand new Nespresso coffee machine (coffee pods not provided) or a teapot if you'd prefer tea. There are plenty of cupboards to store food, and it has all the kitchen utensils you would need for a comfortable stay.

As this is a second floor flat, there are two flights of stairs to get to the front door. As such, this accommodation is not suitable for disabled or very elderly guests, given there is no step-free access.

This is a strictly no smoking flat.

During the school summer holidays, as Swanage is very busy, the property is only available to rent from Friday to Friday.

Why Mark Collins chose Swanage

We fell in love with Swanage when the family first came here in 2012 and we decided we had to buy a holiday home. We have had many happy times here as the town is so safe for our children to be more independent and shop for themselves. We have a boat and the kids love being out on a ringo and visiting quiet beaches in Studland or Poole harbour.

What makes this apartment unique

Our flat is brand new and very comfortable and warm. Everything is new and as the flat is at the back of the block we are away from the road and it is very quiet. We are right in the middle of town so shops and the beach are just outside our door. When we first bought the flat, there was a lovely sweet shop in Daisy May Shopping arcade and the kids loved living above a sweet shop!

Nice sunny apartment, conveniently located

Great location in the centre of Swanage. Very clean and well maintained with good furnishings throughout. Thoroughly recommend staying in this small, perfectly formed apartment for a short break or longer stay. We will definitely be returning!

Cosy and quiet flat in the centre of Swanage

The children and I loved staying at this apartment - it was right in the centre but tucked away in a quiet spot. We loved the freedom we had here - everything was on the doorstep with nothing was more than a 2 minute walk away. Everything was brand new and spotless, from the furniture to the fittings. I’m certainly going to try and return, Swanage is a gorgeous spot and this felt like a home from home !

Great family getaway

Conviently located apartment with all mod cons

My family & I wanted a place near the centre of Swanage.....this fitted the bill perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped with clean modern appliances. The kids loved the strong WiFi. I plan to return in the summer if it's available.
