Why Declan Sharpe chose Dénia
We chose this property because of its really perfect location. Although it has its own pool, it is also just 2 minutes walk to the beach, 5 mins to one of the two new Marinas in Denia, and a short 15 mins walk into town with its fantastic array of restaurants, bars and shops. It even has a chemist and a supermarket within a stones throw should you feel like cooking yourself a treat using all the amazing fresh local ingredients.
What makes this Apartment unique
Location, location, location!! Although we like to spend as much time outside when we are there, our guests tell us they find having internet access and wifi really useful to be able to stay in touch, and they love the fact that they have full Sky TV loaded with channels including movies, sports, and kids channels, and free access to Netflix - just like at home!

Worked well for family
Location was perfect for us. The apartment was very clean , very well equipped with a great welcome pack and lots of space. The beds and linens could do with an upgrade as they weren't comfortable. The lower star rating is because of the issue with keys. We struggled to manage with one within our group dynamic. We also made a mistake and took the key to post back which we know we shouldn't have. Dealing with property manager was prompt and efficient but less so for the onsite staff.
It was indeed unfortunate that the guests immediately prior took a set of keys home with them by mistake, leaving only one set for the next guests (above). However, for that to cause such a deviation from our normal 5 star reviews is a bit of a surprise. Especially given that these new guests then made the very same mistake themselves and took another set of keys home with them. Quite ironic.
So, even though this is the first time this has happened in over 10 years, our guests comfort is most important so we have arranged contingencies to cope with guests mishandling of keys on departure in the future. We have also ordered new bed linen for good measure.
This was a dream property. Large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen which we loved. Declan is a gracious host who always made himself available for any questions via the web site. Definitely family friendly. Supermarket and restaurants easily accessible. Would revisit and recommend to my friends.

The property deserves the 5 star review , it is very comfortable , excellent decor and furnishings and everything you need a true home from home. The Air con was most welcome. The terraces , of which there are several are all set up to enjoy the views and to eat Al Fresco and to sunbathe if you want to as there are sun loungers and even gravity chairs to relax in.
The electric appliances are new , the washing machine , dishwasher , fridge freezer and microwave were easy to use.
The owner has thought of everything , there are plugs/adapters and a bluetooth JBL speaker so you can listen to your Spotify /Apple Music. There is Sky TV and includes movies in case you want a chilled night in.
The pool area is great and the beach is literally across the road. The complex is very well maintained as are the lifts.
There are supermarkets 5 mins away and pharmacy if needed. A short walk away there are restaurants and bars all reasonable and there is a bus stop only 5 minute walk away. We decided to not hire a car so these local shops were convenient, a short drive/cab ride there are large supermarkets including Aldi if you wanted to bulk buy.
We will return and I cannot recommend this property and owner highly enough.

There is probably not much more I can add that hasn't already been said! It is a wonderful property and the facilities are all as described. Declan is very responsive to any requests for information. There are plenty of hidden gems in Denia and a walk in either direction along the seaside will unearth these. The new Marina has some fantastic restaurants also, and it was lovely to stroll there in the late evening. We did a few day trips to the mountains and Valencia and I had to return to Benidorm to have a look as it was the place of my first childhood foreign holiday (1976). The underground carpark is secure and keeps the car cool. I will return to Denia in the future and will stay in the same property.
Fantastic penthouse, great location - loved it
This fabulous property has everything you could possibly want - Jacuzzi bathrooms, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen (we cooked several dinners/lunches), very comfortable living space, huge terraces, air con, English TV, wifi, well manicured gardens, a fabulous pool and outdoor jacuzzi all to ourselves most days. A lift services underground car park and penthouse apartment for those less able. Incredible location 5 mins walk to nearest beach, restaurants, and the new marina bars and restaurants too. 10 min walk into the wonderful town, markets, castle and close access to other nearby great beaches. A great welcome hamper tea, coffee, milk, bread, fruit juice, eggs, ham, cheese, prosecco and ice hugely appreciated to kick off holiday in comfort. The friendly English owner very helpful and responsive to any queries. Can't recommend this enough to couples, groups of friends or families as well equipped for children also - games, toys, inflatables, high chair etc. Will definitely book for return stay.
Denia is located halfway between Alicante and Valencia, and enjoys exceptional weather all year round. This beautiful town centre with all it’s restaurants, bars, shops, pavement cafes and boutiques is a 15 minute walk. The ancient castle is located in the town centre along with a wonderful food market (selling fresh fish and other local produce) and a traditional market which is held twice weekly. One of Denia’s fine sandy beaches is located within one minute’s walk of the apartment (across the road) and includes parasols, loungers, volley ball nets and a beach bar. Many other beaches are within a short drive away. From the port of Denia (10 mins walk) there is frequent ferry service to Ibiza and Mallorca, and a day boat along the coast to Javea, Moraira and Calpe. The recently built marina (5 mins walk) is home to many amazing sailing boats and is the perfect place for an evening stroll with it’s stylish bars, restaurants and cafes.

Golf: The stunning 6289 metre 3x9 (27) hole La Sella course is less than 15 minutes drive away (approx 8 km). This course adjoins the Marriott Golf & Spa Resort which is open to visitors so the ladies can pamper themselves whilst the men visit the 19th hole. There are several more golf courses close-by including Club de Golf Javea 18 holes (18 kilometres) , Club de Golf Oliva Nova 18 holes (17 kilometers) and Club de Golf Ifach 9 holes (25 kilometres).
