Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are few hotels on the island, so mainly private residents are rented out in the summer months. Most of these houses are made from local stone, giving Kea its unique architecture. Kea is not a tourist island and has therefore kept its original charm. There are three to four ferry boats going to and from the island every day.
Villa Petra is located on a hillside, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Aegean sea. Though the villa is in a quiet location, only 1.5 kilometers away is the picturesque Marina of Vourkari, with its restaurants, bars and cafes.
